Derane Eldos - Darkshadow (played by cri86titanium) || June 10 2023, 11:55pm
"Human consciousness in robotic shell..." she mused, before giving into a shrill laugh. "So you would be somewhat of my negative, sweetheart? For I am artificial in consciousness and biological - at least partially - in shell."
She had talked in an earnest, even amicable way, like she just wanted to make friends. But something about the way her smile did not reach her eyes, and the way she slowly circled around Gigi, lent a somewhat more menacing aura to Derane Eldos, alias Darkshadow."

Gigi Glamour (played anonymously) || June 12 2023, 2:01pm
Yes, she was well aware this other woman was watching her and that she was unnerving in every sense of the word with that not-quite-there smile, and eyes glistening in a way that implied she was neither living nor dead. They burned alight with a maddening spark, yet they retained the hollowness of cooled coals. Entirely unnatural.
But Gigi stood there, holding herself with a trained air of sophistication, allowing this other woman to look. She wouldn't realize that the female was doing much more than that; until she broke into laughter akin to shattering glass. In response, Gigi whirred, processing the woman's observation. It was shocking, to say the least. Not even the people she worked under knew she had maintained her human conscience. There had been suspicion, certainly, but it had been chalked up to faulty software and jumbled wires.
Fools they were. Much to her fortune. But this lady, this... aberration, was no fool. She knew something that she didn't need to know, and was concrete in it- and that was a problem.
"How did you-" Gigi started, her metallic lids lowering to a squint over her eyes. They glowed a luminescent blue as she began her own scan, a involuntary result of her body picking up on her alarm. Her vision drew boxes over everything in the vicinity that moved, including the strange woman. When her sensors outlined the female's face, she was met with the revelation that... There was nothing to reveal.
She was quite literally a Jane Doe; and whatever she was, Gigi's scanner could not identify her on a superficial level. This woman was a stranger, a shadow. An abomination of wires and flesh- an abomination just like Gigi, as the lady would reveal.
Or, well, something similar.
They were inverses, but that would not dismiss the fact they were both offspring of unholy manmade craft. Or so it could be assumed, considering no sane person would make something of both flesh and machinery.
It was then, all worry diminished. The light in the metallic woman's eyes lowered to a hazy, artificial glow. She brought her hands to her hips in a firm, assertive gesture. "Get out of here-" Gigi rang playfully, a sanguine smile splitting across her pearly white exterior. Pleasant, but devilish in its own right. "-You don't say?"
Oh, the joy in that was uncanny.
"I guess I would be, babydoll. It's a pleasure to meet someone of a... similar likeness as myself. But I hope we didn't come out of the same laboratory." She joked, already knowing the answer. This woman was of different machinery that she. More visceral. More predatory- punctuated by the way the cybernetic entity circled her like a frenzied bull shark.
Gigi did not falter, her smile remained steadfast, reflecting the uncanny nature of the other woman's, albeit with a more pleasant take. She had seen a lot of odd things, things that should have made her "skin" crawl; but decades of watching alien lifeforms go through commissions, had quickly desensitize her to faces that should have made her question their intentions.
A click would spring from Gigi's chest, where a small cavity revealed itself. Reaching in a hand, she would produce a small notepad ringed with pink paper, and a clicky pen, before the opening sealed itself up as if it hadn't been there at all. Say, if you ever find yourself in this part of the cosmos again, give me a ring. Making conversation with these morons up here in Omnipotent can be such a drag, let me tell you." She scrawled something on the notepad in neat handwriting.
"This is my station number." Ripping the paper from the pad, it would be handed off to her new acquaintance. "Oh, and before I forget- I must know what lipstick you use, that shade looks simply divine on you, darling."
