How would you describe your life thus far?
Eh, I guess you could say it's been sorta rough. My ma died during childbirth with my youngest brother. We worked factory jobs with our pa up until his death. Then I had to find somethin' more lucrative to keep our bellies full. And that was all before the fuckin' war!

What brought you to the railroad and when did you arrive?
I'm sick of diggin' up graves; just lookin' for a fresh start. I arrived in late November 1870.

Nope. Younger brother died in service of the union.

Isn't it obvious? I'd travel to the place and time of my brother's death and trade places with him.

Hah! My first? I'll never forget it! I used to dig up the recently deceased and sell 'em to the university. I was headin' to a fresh grave late one night only to find some cocksucker beat me to it. I waited for him to drag the cadaver out of the ground before I gave him a good whack on the back of the head with a shovel. I covered the fucker up with dirt and took off with the corpse!

It ruined my fuckin' life. Everythin' I did for my brother was in vain; a fuckin' waste. If he'd been the one to survive, then maybe it would've been all worth it.
