Casey Dunfur

Just your local donkey. Thick mane, long ears, hooves, pretty much par for the course with a blend of fat and muscle balancing out into an average sorta build. Aside from the hair, fur was a muted brown tone that faded to lighter greys as boot and glove markings while a whip of a tail swished a tufted tip about. Outfits tended to be more form over fashion, usually overalls or jeans when he wasn't breaking out the camouflage. Not breaking the mold too badly, he was pretty much your average blend of redneck and farmer sort with a lil bit of a country drawl of an accent. When not roaming around town, he could usually be found tending to stuff back on the farm, always working on one project or another.

Feral Shifter
Casey's capable of shifting from an anthropomorphic to bestial state and back again. The former tends to be the default state in most settings due to versatility while the latter is primarily used as a traveling form.

Overleveled
Stats are fairly absurd and more in line with that of a high-level adventurer. Apparently fending off all the stuff trying to get past the fence has served as years of grinding experience points.

Improvised Arsenal
While not too skilled with anything like a sword or bow, Casey does pretty well wielding stuff like a wood-splitting axe or a whip. That or pretty much anything out of the tool shed. Shovel, saw, sledgehammer, etc.

Monster Rancher
It's his job. Takes more than just slapping a saddle onto one of those things to make them behave so the local guild occasionally sends something down to the farm to get broken in.

Voraphile
Despite being an herbivore species, Casey is prone to more of an omnivorous diet. It's kind of taboo in the herd-centric community so he tends to be something of an undercover predator quietly taking care of other threats behind the scenes.

Casey's a rustic sort. Living out in the middle of nowhere, he tends to spend more time alone with his thoughts than he does gossiping with folks and getting worked up over the latest drama. Instead, he tends to take things in a slow sort of pragmatic manner, spending much of his time working on various projects while daydreaming or just ruminating over stuff as his body goes through the motions. Hobbies tend to be simple. When he isn't building something or dabbling about in the kitchen, he'll sometimes go out exploring on a hike and maybe camp out for a night or two before heading back to the farm. When it comes to dealing with folks, he's a bit of an introvert, usually opting to keep from making too much of a public scene though he does try to be polite and respectful enough with those he actually winds up talking to. At least that's the case most of the time. While fairly soft-spoken, those who know him better and have been around him long enough for the mask to slip are more likely to point out the overly-critical nature and general stubbornness of the ass. He means well though. Bit of a loner though. While he does have a few friends, relations are somewhat distant with occasional visits every now and then to keep in touch. He doesn't mind. They know where to find him and he's kinda gotten a bit of a reputation as the group prepper due to his habit of stockpiling supplies.

Growing up in Havenhorn, Casey enjoyed a pretty peaceful upbringing in the small rural town. Was one of the quiet kids through school and didn't make too many social connections, opting to focus on his work so he'd have more time to get out and enjoy a little freedom away from all the constraints and obligations involved with folks. As he grew older, he'd pick up a few jobs here and there between shops back in town and acting as the local handyman for all the building and repair stuff that popped up from time to time. After some relatives had passed, he'd find himself inheriting a few acres of land and wind up as something of a farmer to try and make a little profit off of it. Between the lack of help and the monsters coming from the nearby wilderness and wrecking havoc, it wound up being more of a personal garden than anything commercially viable though. Dealing with it all did inadvertently teach the donkey how to hold his own against the beasts and with nothing better to do with the space, he eventually found himself as something of a tamer for the ones captured and shipped over from the adventurer's guild. Well... at least that was the original deal. What he thought was just training potential mounts wound up as something more along the lines of them just dumping exotic monsters on the farm and asking him to try to keep them from rampaging across the countryside. At least being out in the middle of nowhere helped keep the collateral damage down. Luckily, it's not all the time they find something that needs to be quarantined out there and the pay does give the donkey a good bit of leisure when he's not stuck wrangling the things. That being said, there is a little bit of conflict from time to time when the guild tries to swindle him after dropping a dungeon boss on his doorstep.
