      Cris returned the hug of her friend, eyes smiling warmly behind the mask. "Xi, it's been such a long time! How are you doing?" At the mention of their first meeting, when she had told off a very rude Mr. Dunmoor who was verbally attacking the Avian, she shook her head. "You say that but I did what everyone else should have been doing", except everyone else was too wrapped up about Mr. Patron of the Art's showmanship apparently to remember basic decency. Not that it had stopped her from giving Mr Patron of the Arts a good telling off and the insinuation that if he was so worked up about the presence off akes in his collection *maybe* it was a sore nerve touched.

      Oh well, she had found him insufferable from day one anyway.

      "Kids are doing well, but they'd love to see you again, especially Chiara!" She knew her firstborn had made a picture of Xi she wanted to gift her but she'd not spill the beans and let Chiara run her little surprise! "And a meeting at that space station sounds great, it's been some busy times so I could definitely use some days off work and the kids would love it too! One of the coming weekends, maybe? If it's okay with you? Here, have my ID contact, then we can make plans for as soon as we're both free? And I'd love to meet your friends, you told me about them but we've never got the chance to get acquainted in person yet!""

        "A twinkle glimmered in Xihuitl's eyes as she accepted the ID contact.

        "Of course, my friend," she replied, polite as ever. "I will extend the invite to both Captain Ana and Cepheus and see who is available."

        However, Ana might have been the less likely of the two to accept. She was fine with children, but didn't consider it a desirable option to spend her free time around them. Especially with her constant concern for danger. Cepheus, on the other hand, would never pass up the chance to go out drinking, even where it concerned kids. He'd probably be the kind of person to smuggle beer into a kid's birthday party at a zoo or other family establishment.

        "They have a few family-friendly venues on the station," Xihuitl offered. "I will let you know of our options after I investigate them. Here."

        She raised her own instant messaging device to exchange her own ID to Cris.

        "Contact me as you please. I look forward to keeping up with you and your family! I will see you around then, I trust?""

          ""Absolutely, count on it!" Cris assured with a bright smile. "Maybe I can ask my robot mum to come along too, then if the kids get bored of our talks and want to go playing she can take them around for a stroll." Not only she trusted Emily with her lfie but she knew how touched her robot mum was whenever she was involved in family events.After all, *family* had been her greatest longing for so much time, and it was just all around full circle that they had built one together - she the spurned daughter and Emily the spurned lover of Demetrio, both unwanted, both heartbroken, a mother and a daughter closer than if they had been real blood-relatives. "You'll love her I'm sure, she's the kindest woman in the worlds-that-are."

          Saving Xi's ID in her own contacts, she smiled at her Avian friend. "You too, stay in touch, by all means!""

            The fact Cris had a mother that happened to be a robot intrigued her. Was she similar to a Glitch, in any sense? Or was this a different sort of AI? Not all Glitch were the same, after all. She'd expect other robots to be different cases as well. She definitely had to bring it up during their next meeting!"
