Description

At first glance, Almul appears to be a human-shaped person in a suit of armor. Until you notice the impossible darkness behind the slits in their visor, the structures in their lower legs that would crush a wearer's shins beyond all non-magical repair, and the strange way they move; effortlessly smooth, slightly more flexible than they ought to be. Or if you see them with their mask open. Their helmet is entirely empty.

Almul's armor is reasonably practical, but has some ornate features; flares around the edges of plating, ornate carvings that evoke flames, and the slightest traces of what used to be silver and gold detailing. The style is now largely found only in castle ruins, in long-lost armor caches, and in museums. Everything under the armor is hidden, either by the armor itself or by chain mail and the worn fabric underneath, except the unnatural blackness where their eyes ought to be. Their shoulder plating has odd-looking sockets in it, as if something is meant to be inset. They resemble an adventurer in ancient but well-made armor, except for the mannerisms somewhere between "seasoned warrior" and "politely confused".
