True alchemists understand the equivalence of giving and taking. It's why I have never come to understand raw magic users. They take so freely, but what is ever given back to the world around. So callous they are, fundamentally flawed and dangerous.

Fight waves of chaotic destructions with the order of maintained construction. As with alchemy, you must always give something for a result; I wonder if many realize the impact they cause outside of this simple understanding. I have learned what it can do to take and not give back. The exchange law is always militant to come back for its reaped rewards. Just so recently, I had endeavored to bring the elements of fire π into a form of healing. My mind raced in the thought that if wounds can be cauterized, why can it not merge flesh back to its original condition. Heat is used upon metalsπ to reform and correct damages; blacksmiths show this repeatedly. Or the primordial beings that make themselves upon flame anew.
Of course, I had a lapse in judgment looking at it now. Every test I took turned to me or my companions burnt. The method of balancing organic life and fire elements seemed to be a concept I couldn't grasp. Even when I compared to the arts of metal crafting or studies of said creatures earlier. Unfortunately, with my more premature failures, I now have no one but myself inclined to resume these tests, and with that, theories can only be made. It upsets me now thinking about this; why I even bothered to push nature beyond a limit it should go. I am no true mage or priest. Just a creature meddling with the world's balance. This, on the whole, caused an inkling of self-reflection as those do not come often for me.
I thrive as an alchemist for balance and to make sure everything truly is conformed. But other things remain in front of me that influence such sentiments and followings to the side. Alchemy is the only thing I honestly still feel linked to at this moment in life, my old self, whoever they may have been long shirked. While I have my moments of clarity here, the fear is that once I lose my balance, nothing will be left but the husk of burnt forgotten memories. My hope of controlling fire to mend was under the idea that it could be used to fix what was done to me. I know better, though, that there won't be any left of me once the goal is complete. I am the alchemical exchange in the puzzle, the remaining part of my mind that still sticks true, and with that, I can't forget it. May I forget my name, who I was, or where I am even. I can never forget my craft and what it means for everyone.

Major Strengths
γThe Alchemist StoneγWith an alchemist stone pumping in the dwelling of where a heart would sit, Tera's skill exceeds any ordinary peer. Not only does their ability to transmogrify everyday objects into magical sources of power remain out of the norm, but the understanding of raw alchemical mixtures is just as equivalently impressive. While some similar occupations may disagree with the benefits of such a powerful item being used in the way that Tera does, it does ensure one thing. They continue living, and with that, it's enough for Tera to ensure that the highest potential is used while also maintaining it as the one life source obtainable to them.
γLifespanγTera has lived beyond the expected years of a mortal human, with the Alchemist stone and fae-like heritage supporting this impressive feat. While this is not necessarily a strength, the knowledge Tera has accumulated and cataloged proves to say otherwise. Ancient magic and history locked away in a lab that most could only dream of seeing inside. The gathered information enough to fill an entire library, of course, if Tera bothered to share any of it or, for that matter, recollect were that one journal entry had been put ten years ago....
Major Flaws
γOne-eyed blindnessγTera is by all means physically blind in their right eye. No amount of magical healing or alchemical combination has been able to fix it, comparable to the scar imprints that litter their body. Because of this blindness, Tera suffers in the category of perception heavily. While close lab work and handling of potions are fine, anything outside of those few specific categories becomes a feat of luck if Tera detects anything. Throughout the lifespan Tera has existed, they have encountered multiple pickpockets and assassins all the same that crept up without even a glimmer of detection their way.
γClouded MindγA constant fog lingers over Tera's mind, the tendrils of forgetfulness pulling away what was at the moment critical information they needed. While remedies of endless note-taking are a means to fight against amnesia-like hindrance, Tera does not always get the opportunity, especially while traveling along the road. The forgetful nature of this alchemist can range from their very own name to a complex mixture of ingredients as they worked. While quick and intelligent overall, it proves to be a weight on their shoulder that never leaves. Similar to their blindness, no curing or adjustments repair the permanent blemish that sits in Tera's mind. ...............................
