    A remnant of The Flock's more tumultuous times, the individual to fill Wren's role was meant to be a sharp and hardy blade of destruction. To this end, Father Koel sought a child of a certain caliber, and through his many contacts, found a candidate worth the trouble of claiming; a blessed child in the realms of Shadow whose blood was not yet awoken, but promised a type of magic that would prove useful. Father Koel abducted this child and left no survivors of his family, and raised him as an orphan in Garen's Well under the name 'Wren', further tempering him in the ways of a Divine Soul and eventually, as a Hexblade.

    His carefree and goofy personality betrays a truth most would overlook, and one he labours to keep that way as a man of the shadows. As an eagle would not display their talons, he too learned that knives are best used when unseen and struck when one's target least expects. Deploying a mix of magic and flurries of blades in his arsenal, he cuts a clean tie between survivability and efficacy in his work, making him a favourite for long-term and fast-paced missions where survival is necessary and rest is few and far in between; he just likes to play around with his prey at times, the same way a cat would.
