    On the surface, she seems like a charming, intelligent, and pretty go-with-the-flow type woman. Those that managed to actually get close to her (which wasn't an easy task) would probably describe her as far more complex and troubled than she would ever initially let on.       The diary looks as if its been through hell; the cover is tattered, stained, and worn while a large chunk of pages had been torn hastily from inside to leave only the untouched ones behind. A fresh start? Escaping the past? Whatever the reason she finally found it within herself to open the damn thing and write.

      Maybe coming back to the island was a mistake. Despite there being so many new faces, all new faces in fact, and I can't help but feel overwhelmed with memories of her. Landing at the docks instantly reminded me of the trouble we used to get into while hanging out after dark together. Primes, it's been a year that she's been gone. Still, having our wedding anniversary coming up makes it that much harder. I hope that I can lose myself again to everything this place can offer. If I'm lucky, I'll find the means to make that bastard pay too. It's going to take time, money, and muscle though. Guess that's all I have now, time. The rest can come later..
