The Golden Tether |
Eyes of the Night | ✦
Greater Darkvision up to 120 feet. Demetri can see perfectly well in areas of darkness and dim light, though that vision is in black and white only. Their eyes are capable of seeing through even forms of magical darkness meant to inhibit and blind targets.
Nocturnal Charm | ✦
There is a supernatural charm about Demetri, and they have learned to use it against others. Typically it is easier for them to persuade others into telling them information, or to deceive them and hide the truth. They also are capable of making quite an impression with eloquent words and suave mannerisms.
Voice of the Night | ✧
Demetri is able to hear and understand the words of creatures they share the darkness with. They are capable of communicating with bats, rats, and wolves. This allows Demetri to ask simple questions of them and persuade them to assist in simple tasks. Though the creatures will only answer within their understanding of the world around them and comprehension is impeded by their intelligence and wisdom.
Raised Champions | ✧
After infusing a thread of their own essence into a body of the diseased? They are able to create a facsimile of life-- though it is nothing more then a mockery of the living. These thralls are capable of some emotions and even complex thoughts. It is rare for them to remember past lives, but, those that are turned quickly after dying seem to hold onto more of 'who they were'. They are compelled to follow Demetri's bidding and seem incapable of preforming actions that would end up harming their creator. These creatures are not vampires. They are more like reanimated husks, zombies, or even skeletal remains.
|
Slip into Shadow | ✦
Their ancestry make this vampire particularly well versed in bleeding into the darkness and creating shade where there may not be any. They are able to manifest shadows upon themselves and pull themselves and one other into the plane of shadow for a reprieve. They are also more durable in the sunlight then most vampires, able to create a cloak over their body for five minutes and block out the sunlight.
Symphony of Blood | ✦
A life force siphoning ability. Demetri is capable of drawing in the blood and life force of other creatures through outstretched arms. They will deal 12d6 negative damage to any living creatures in the area. Demetri will gain temporary 'health' equal to half the damage a creature took from this spell, bolstering their own vitality for a short time.
Born of Shade | ✧
Demetri has resistance against magics and attacks are based in 'necrotic', 'darkness', or 'void' energies. They will passively siphon away small amounts of that energy back into himself to re-use without needing to do anything to activate. They are able to harness shadows into physical manifestations to harm others, creating blades to wield and daggers to hurl. These weapons do magical slashing damage.

Arena Stats
Strength - 0
This undead has above average strength due to being supernatural. They do regular labour and have started training with weapons recently. Stamina - 2 An elevated endurance is due to their undead constitution. It's difficult to kill something that's already dead. They also have a long history of working with chemical reagents that has boosted their resistances to damage slightly. Speed - 1 One of the key features of a vampire is their impressive speed, their elegance, and grace. This combatant excels at dodging their attacker and kiting them around an arena as they do chip damage. Armor - 1 Simple and basic leather armor at this time. Nothing special. Weapon - 1 Main Weapon: A crystal dagger from their homeland, that they can use to augment their attacks. The gemstone edge seems to hold its sharpness longer then most metals. Secondary Weapon: Their fingers are able to transform into dark talons that have a lethal sharpness to them. Will be used if they are disarmed. |
