Charlie was raised by her father (with the same name) in England, unfortunately. Her parents got divorced when she was only 2 years old and her mother wasn’t capable at that time to take care of her alone. Before she was born, her father had one wish and one wish only: having a son (which is why he named her Charlie Logan Jr.). So when her mother got pregnant he was excited, he never even considered that there was a 50 percent change that he might have a daughter. To his despise, that was the case. Being raised like a boy; he always treated her like one and completely ignored the fact that she definitely was not one. From a young age, she felt the anger against her gender, perhaps because of his military rank as a major. The most masculine man you will ever meet, loads of respect and valued around the people, thankful for his duty to the community. After Charlie was born, he did stay at home for several years or brought her to the base, he would always tell her how he would have loved her to have a place there someday. He didn't even point out the fact that the whole group was possessed by men. It was clear that he saw her as a child of scandal, whenever she pointed it out for him or she didn't seem interested. All she wanted was to wear Disney dresses and play with Barbies like the rest of her classmates. She was put on a football team - the boys football team - even though she didn’t want to play, nor was she good at it. But he was desperate. After only allowing her to have boy friends and making a boy room for her, but none of the aboves could make her a boy. Anyways, Charlie played on the boys football team when she was about 13 years old, but one when her father walked in on her, he spotted Charlie kissing one of her team players. And then he finally realized: he would never have a son. Charlie moved into her mothers house in America, where she could finally become who she really wanted to be. She started a whole new life, met new friends and could finally experience what a girl friend is. Charlie is super intelligent and studys hard to become a doctor. A supportive friend, but if you drag her into drama, she will back off. She avoids conflicts in any possible way, it’s not her style so if her friends ask her to choose sides, she will stay neutral. She doesn’t do complicated. She will leave during an argument and she will never ever talk about it again. Charlie is a harsh judge to herself, her confidence is low and it all comes back to her father and her childhood where she was never good enough the way she was. She goes nuts if she fails on a test or if she can’t find a dress that looks good on her. She is not good at saying no and therefore she often does things she truly doesn’t want to do. She wants to please people and make them happy, ‘cause that will make them like her more. What a tragic thought. |
