    Har, the current owner of Hanina. A demon who is molding the Saluki to his will and needs through various forms of flattery. He despises being called 'Master' and insists on being called by his name instead; something that goes against every grain of the Saluki's being. However, being the people pleaser that she is, Hanina gladly obliges. It is unusual to see one without the other since the demon made his purchase.

    Har has given his thrall a gift. A black pearl with spidering veins of pearlescent blue. Unannounced to Hanina, this pearl has varying effects on her mental state.* Below are the lists of the various effects that the thrall can experience:

  • History of Hanina

    Hanina is a gentle, sincere soul who is eager to please any that crosses her path. A surprising twist considering the upbringing that the Saluki had. Born into a small, lower-class family nestled in the rolling hills of a small village, Hanina lived in peace until roughly the age of 16. It was then, that her life took a drastic turn.

    The government had begun a takeover, sieging every piece of land, coin, and child they could. Hanina slipped into the night with a fellow companion – together they were destined to survive in a wicked world. The Saluki possessed great knowledge, though, even with a poor upbringing. This allowed her to reach a great potential and face many obstacles that came her way. It is part of the reason the Saluki carries herself as she does today.

    Little is known about her past, though. It is something that is a well-kept secret. After living on the run for many years, her companion betrayed her when the pair were stopped while trying to flee their village. The pair were forced to make a choice – fight or fall. Hanina’s fierce loyalty would not allow her to raise a blade against her own, so without a second thought, the other retaliated, leaving a large and angry slash across her face.

    The Saluki’s life was spared, but in return, she was forced into slavery where she landed with an older woman – a kind and gentle soul, despite the fact she believed thralls were not able to touch anything of value – lest they cause a depreciation with their ‘unworthy’ hands. Hanina became something of a handmaid to the woman. She learned many of her secrets and was made to swear not to tell. Often, their exchanges lasted into the wee hours of the morning. When the unfortunate day came of her passing, Hanina was sold to the Tether, where she landed in Guildereim some weeks later.

    The thrall had barely settled in when she was claimed by a demon-canine by the name of Thrall who thought her very well suited to the purposes he needed. A quick exchange of coin, and then she was his. It is now to be noted that the two are like shadows, never one without the other. While the Saluki has changed with some mannerisms and became a bit more open, there is still a reserve to the thrall, who serves Har with fierce loyalty.
