Lucia Shepard

Being born right after the Dark Lord has been defeated in a decisive battle, Lucia was born in a loving family. Her family was always on the tall and strong side on both sides, but she was the first to be born with a set of horns... She grew up to be large and healthy like the rest of her family, though she always was a gentle soul and good with animals.

It was an unfortunate thing that the defeat of the Dark Lord hadn't magically solved all the problems his short but brutal campaign has caused. The memories of the rampages from his minotaur shock troops still fresh in many people's minds gave her no shortage of difficulties growing up, and while most of her home village eventually accepted her for the calm and gentle giant that she was, "most" wasn't "all".

Her life took an unexpected turn when bandits attacked her village. She couldn't stand by and hide while they would surely massacre the people she grew up with, and so she grabbed the closest thing she found to a shield, the heaviest improvised bludgeon within reach, and engage them in melee. Thanks to her actions, there were no friendly fatalities, and she caught the eye of an order of knightly sentinels.

And thus she was trained as a Paladin, a knight in shining armor using Divine magic to heal and protect the innocent and smite the wicked, eventually settling on a hammer with a core made of the densest material known to man encased in adamantine as her main weapon, the sheer weight of it capable of delivering bone-shattering impacts with her great strength.

Cleaning up the remnants of the forces of the Dark Lord, various abominations, and hunting down the remaining members of his inner circle had turned out to be a loner-lasting mission than she anticipated... And a difficult one at times. And the difficulties her more bull-like features caused her started to gradually wear her down...
