    He tends to wear a long black cloak and has a utility belt with his pokeballs beneath it. Underneath he wears a black button up shirt and a black pair of jeans. He'll throw his cloak off when he gets especially fired up. He has heterochromia, only slightly, one eye is blue and the other is gray. He has a scar on his left eye and his right cheek from his struggles in the past

      Clay was trembling as Alabaster let out a cry of despair, hitting his knees. Clay took a step forward… but it was already too late. Alabaster held his persian in his arms. It's fur was bloodied, and it's body limp. Alabaster sobbed against the pokemon, hiding his face against it as his shoulders shook.

      "A-Al… we… we have to get outta here. Please…" Clay reached out, tugging on Alabaster's arm before his brother hit him away. He stood and turned towards his little brother in a fit of rage, grabbing him by the front of the shirt.

      "None of this would have ever happened if you didn't fuckin' exist! Look at what you've done, Clay!" Alabasters voice cracked, every word dripping with raw emotion. "You got my best friend killed! How could you!"

      Clay sat up with a gasp, the young man drenched in sweat as he desperately tried to untangle himself from his blankets, only getting more tangled up before falling off his bed with a thud. He grunted softly and succumbed to the sheets until his younger brother peeked in.

      "Clay..? Do.. Do you need help?" He asked gently, Clay nodding before Slate walked inside. He kneeled down and untangled him from the sheets. Clay sort of chuckled once he was out.

      "Thanks… I guess I moved around too much during a bad dream…"

      "Bad dream..? Was it… was it Bastie again? It wasn't your fault… I'm sure he doesn't still-"

      "Hey now..! Don't you worry about that kinda thing. Isn't it time for you to pick your starter today anyway? Come on, get up, let's go." Clay grinned, standing up and hoisting his little brother up with him. "Do you know what you want? You know what Galar's famous starters are, don't you?"

      "Sobble, Grookey, and Scorebunny! Do I have to choose from those though?" Slate asked as Clay suddenly hoisted him up and set him over his shoulder.

      "Hm… no I guess not! Is there something you had in mind?"

      "I want a meowth just like Bastie! Although, I'll probably get a Perrserker won't I? I heard he got a meowth from a different region!" Clay faltered only slightly before he managed a smile.

      "A meowth is a fine starter… Alabaster would be proud! He was very proud of that thing.." He hummed.
      "Is he ever coming home..?"

      "Slate I… I don't know… when I last… when… look… he hates me… okay. Alabaster… I think he took a trip to a different region… I don't think he'll be back…" He said gently, Slate nodding his head.

      "That's okay, Clay. As long as we have each other!"

      "You really thought this wasn't a dream? Don't you remember what happened, Clay?"

      "What..?"

      "I said as long as we had each other… Are you okay, Clay?"

      "Oh… Yeah, yeah! I'm fine. Let's go get you your starter!"
