Pretir Leenya

Pretir grew up a single child, with only an elderly man to look after him. He was left to figure out life on his own terms and cared not for bookish matters or peaceful games. He loved to converse however. And by converse, he means poke fun at someone, get hit, and then hit back in retaliation.

He fought. A lot. So much so, it grew to be his favorite pastime, and his caretaker did little to correct the behavior. If at all, honestly. The man was absent beyond throwing some food his way. Pretir was the town bully, and this didn't stop until he had the daylights beat out of him by someone nearly as big as he was. This person was named Faelor. Pretir decided then and there that they were best friends. Thankfully, Faelor stuck around and taught him some manners. It's a wonder what learned empathy can do for a person! Now he's a jovial jokester and a bloody brawler.

Pretir figured out in his early teen years that he was actually quite lonely, and had a strong desire to connect with others, but few other than Faelor seemed to realize his good-natured intentions. Who can blame them? He's been responsible for broken bones and crushed skulls since he could toddle. One would imagine the skull face paint doesn't help either. This lead to ultimately becoming a mercenary for hire, given his natural skill-set. His peculiar fashion sense came to be when escorting a troupe of bards, jesters, and jokers for a few years.

Nowadays, Pretir continues to be a mercenary and a menace. But he's genuinely trying to make connections. Too bad he'd sooner tell you that your head is shaped weird rather than say you're pretty.
