Apollyon

Welcoming: Apollyon is surprisingly warm-hearted and friendly. That is, if one can get past his strict exterior.

Quiet Force: He knows how to put on the pressure when needed, albeit he isn't the most obvious about it. This oftentimes works in his favor.

Artistic: He's a creative force who knows how to think outside the box for solutions.

Needs Validation: As a result of his harsh upbringing, Apollyon doesn't ask for validation. However, he still seeks it in order to thrive in a social environment.

Straightforward: He doesn't beat around the sea grass bush. Though he doesn't often lie to others unless absolutely necessary, this can come across as off-putting to some.

Bound by the Book: Honoring a rigid code of former chivalry, he holds himself to some unrealistic standards. Not only that, but he disallows any flexibility in that matter. Sometimes, that can include others.

• Arms & Suckers: Possessing over 2,000 suckers across all eight arms, they are all capable of taste and smell, including picking up the scents of hormones in the water. Each individual sucker has the ability to hold up to 35 pounds each with low pressure. As each arm carries around 280 suckers, he is capable of carrying an object over 100 pounds with one arm. The arms hold two-thirds of the neurons in his body, with one-third in his brain. There is a neuron cluster in each of his eight octopod arms, but none in his more humanoid arms.
  
• Auditory System: Being technically "deaf," he picks up vibrations in the air or water to decipher consonants with buds on the sides of his head. While he hears better underwater than in the air, he cannot hear vowels. He speaks and does not use sign language.
  
• Integumentary System: He has stretchy skin that is capable of changing color, based on mood or need to camouflage.
  
• Circulatory System: Apollyon has three hearts; one systemic heart in the chest and one branchial heart on each hip. The former pumps blood throughout the body and the latter pumps blood to the gills. His blood is deep blue in color and has the consistency of honey.
