Small History
Being the youngest of 9 did have its perks- often left to her own devices and compared to the rowdy siblings, little Gemma had always been quiet. Now well into her twenties she refused to marry and wanted to just be- knowing there was for sure one other who would understand. Her older cousin. So off she went, with her life in a few trunks and what little money she claimed. Nothing could be simple though, not for a Clarke. The small ship had suddenly taken on water, barely making it near enough to the port for all of them not to drown. Soaking wet and looking more like a rat than a badger-squirrel, finding the family business and presenting herself to her cousin.
