With a French woodworker mother and an English carpenter father, Kaedon was motivated to learn a marriage of both trades from the beginning of his life -- with an interest in joinery to boot. Time aboard many different ships as he grew older afforded him a chance to study international woodworking techniques, from traditional Indian carving, to Spanish boat building. He loves a challenge, trying new things, and thinks there is nothing more satisfying than the ache of well-worked muscles after a hard day.
Although Kaedon is a modest individual, his products are highly sought-after within certain circles, and at this stage in his life he does have the luxury of choosing where he wishes to work. Much of his income goes back into private projects. Currently, he owns a small shop, where he works freelance. His small living quarters are at the rear of the building.
Although he is not celebrated for his combat skills, Kaedon can be lethal in a fight. He is best utilised as ranged offensive. On his person, he always carries four daggers -- one toothpick dagger in either boot, and two leather-wrapped daggers in twin sheathes on his right hip. These are all perfectly weighted to allow him to throw them with precision. None of them could be described as fancy, but each is sharp and maintained.
In close combat, he relies on brute force. Anyone adept with a long-blade would most likely have an advantage over him in this scenario. Additionally, he boasts no magical abilities or defences. If his thrown attacks fail, he will resort to cunning before he goes in closer. He will not hesitate to protect those he is close to or has respect for, even at a great personal disadvantage. -
