Nameless Ochimusha

1- Is approached by the forest robbers again... to ask for clemency and a hiding place from the Cabbala and the red mist overtaking the forest. Musashi, irate at their audacity, refused to help knowing they would be stabbed back after helping them, however Mitsuki was present and asked him to stand down. The robbers were tentatively allowed in Empire lands... if they obeyed the laws and left the portal alone.

3 - Was officially made the Jade Champion of the Empire after a month of wait; given the Jade Daishō by Emperor Dezirael himself, the blades blessed by the deity Osano-Wo. He was given his first task; to compile a report on the Red Mist threatening the realm for the Emperor and everyone to read.

4 - In gathering information about the Mist, he was tricked by the Cabbalan Vivi into showing her the Air Shrine, which she then defiled with a blood ritual. He was helped by the cabbit Shirayuki Rumi in taking her down and tossed her into the palace prison to await potential execution (her fate much worse in the end... a bath by Zao).

5 - Requested permission from the Emperor and his SiC Meira to be allowed a duel to the death with the dying Lashier and give him a honorable end. Later consummated his relationship with the pixie- briefly.

7- Dueled, and killed Lashier in the palace grounds.

8,9 - Mourning

10 - Approached Tamina of Helheim over HH's information about the Red Mist. Later, was present at the meeting of the Empire's shugenja discussing it and put together the first version of the Red Mist Report, which he sent to the Emperor and Imperial Court.

14 - Was attacked by Ashley Locks with a gun in an attempt to rob him while he stood watch at the portal on the Emperor's orders. He (and his horse) beat her back.

15 - Was approached by Ezekiel, who informed him he was being followed by a ghost that was losing its identity. With her help they guided Lashier's spirit to his lamp, where he was reborn as a phoenix entity. However, he lost most of his memory, and isn't quite the same individual, needing to relearn from scratch. Musashi named him Kazuya.

16 - Musashi participated in the Red Mist Expedition, gathering information and eventually coming to lead a group of explorers after getting separated before making it to the end of the expedition- Kerim a corrupted slime, which the coalesced groups defeated.

18 - Attended Open Court, during which he was informed that Star betrayed the Empire by joining the Cabbala. Before it could get to the midway point, however, Castien in spirit form appeared and attacked the Herald Tsuiteru. Rin and Musashi got in the way and prevented damage, however Musashi was humiliated in public for his failure to actually strike the creature. Musashi walked out in shame.

19 - Musashi helped Jinto and Mikhail the tiger along Kazuya to gather more clues, but refrained from fighting due to being shamed so horribly. Miraculously he managed being infected on his second run again even though he took with him a corrupted druidic staff as a sample.

21 - Attended the second Red Mist meeting, where it was divined that the mist was the result of spent arcane magic- a new form of the corruption the JLE was fighting against. Talk of a purifying ritual was put forth, and Musashi put together the last version of the Red Mist Report which he sent to the Court, the Emperor, as well as Tamina and the Arestegi who'd requested updates. However an announcement and warning about the corruption originating from magic from the Emperor a few days later set the Helheimians against the Jade Lotus.

3 - Received news from Lashier and the Cabbits about Star and Daimyo Hotaru being missing and taken by the Cabbala. Just at the same time as emisaries of the Open Hand arrived to speak about their captives (primarily Ezekiel of the Cabbala, who had already been there the first time Star got captured and earned a rep for being somewhat trustworthy). The news they received dissipated the impression that the Cabbala had ambushed them and instead revealed something infinitely more troubling; Star had disobeyed her orders and aligned herself with Hotaru to attack the Cabbalan who won the pit fights in their own territory. Hotaru tricked the cabbits into following and attempted to trade their lives for Star's back.

5 - Musashi was promoted by Torashi as Taishō of the Army, making him effectively second in command due to Ren's absence.

5 - Musashi (and his horse) was 'attacked' by a fey dragon along with an oni before he could return home. It wasn't 'really' a fight but Musashi (and his horse) reigned victorious and their pockets still full.

7 - Lashier attempted to fight something in order to qualify for the Jade Champion trials and Musashi accompanied him as security. However the drider they chose to fight did not duel, simply attempt to kill. Reo and Musashi had to take the pixie back home and treat him from poison.

7- Accompanied Torashi and Hinami to meet with Ezekiel and the Cabbala's Archon and exchange prisoners for Star's life, again. Star had been corrupted by the Archon while in their 'care' and she was dragged off in chains.

9 - Assisted Kanayama in her purification class when she performed a live purification of Star as demonstration, restraining her while she was exorcised.

10 - Attended the guard's trial against Star for her repeated disobedience, ending in almost open war with the Cabbala. Upon the reveal of Star heading down to attack Cabbala also disobeying Hotaru and Kanayama's orders and her hate of all magics, he voted to have her expulsed from the guard, although in better terms that everyone else.

12 - Musashi came across a crowd by the guard barracks, part of which was Lashier and a Helheim man with a musket. The Helheim man asked to meet with Torashi regarding training, adressing himself as Lieutenant Madrigal from the navy. Immediately after the Helheimians left, Musashi was attacked by barbarian robbers. Dok and him managed to beat back the robbers, though he was left with a head wound.

14 - Musashi was attacked again by the same bandits while meditating in the forest. Their leader claimed revenge. Unfortunately he lost his time, and they took from him coin and clothes. Wounded, he could only watch as they also attacked Lashier and the Tengu Akihiko and later Helarath, part of the Tusks, proving the robber's tale of being part of the Tusks false.

17 - Engaged an aerial fight with Viktor of Helheim after the man attempted to shoot at Mitsuki, his Daimyo, for declining a duel a few days ago. Though it looked like he would win at first, Viktor recovered and shot him in the stomach, already weakened from being repeatedly stabbed and attacked by the robbers the previous days. Musashi fell off the islands and crashed into the forest, dying. When Lashier managed to find him, only the combined power of the Sasaki Clan and others of the Jade Oracle rescued him from death's door, during which Reo disowned Lashier for having preference for Musashi.

19-22 - Recovery from the previous wounds. Musashi remains offduty and avoiding of fights until the month ends.

24 - Finally speaks of his origins and who he is to a friend--- Hinami-chan.

26 - Star tracks him down and apologizes for her behavior. Musashi accepts the apology and offers some dango and they leave in good terms.

27 - Musashi headed down into the forest, which was increasingly overtaken more and more by the corruptive red mist. He is scared off and told to return home by the entity named Castien.

29 - Castien appears at the Okiya while Musashi was drinking, and found offense to Musashi's lack of fear of him. They fight (a rather low stakes fight) and Musashi wins, annoyed at being forced to defend himself and reopening his wounds.

30 - The leader of the forest robbers attempts to rob Musashi again. He simply flees on his horse. Later she attempts to approach to talk with a wolf, and Musashi flees again to avoid reopening wounds and attend the last shrine blessing of the year.

1 - Was challenged by Helarath to battle. Musashi defeated the feline. Also met Star Gazer as a new soldier of the Empire after having previously met the elf outside of it.

2 - An emotional conversation with Lashier regarding the pixie's feelings and need to devour dreams resulted in something more.

3 - A talk with Star Gazer was interrupted by Lark, an old enemy of Star. Musashi intervened after their aggressive conversation moved to threats; after giving Lark several warnings and chances to depart the Empire peacefully, Star and Musashi battled Lark and defeated her before locking her in a cell.

9/10/11/12 - Departed on a multiple day 'delivery quest' to hand a letter to a friend of Torashi (Elune) who was not seen since Helheim's destruction. Failed to deliver the letter to Elune herself but left it in the care of Ziaro of the Basilica.

13 - An attempt at communication between Lashier, Reo and Musashi went sideways with Lashier left upset and Musashi enduring a panic attack.

16 - Escorted Torashi along with Hinami in a prisoner exchange with the Open Hand of the Cabbala for Star's life. Star was ordered to stay away from the Cabbala due to the risk of Dinnin, an old enemy of Star, finding her.

19 - Participated in the Imperial Army Fair. Defended the Army's honor by defeating Vigil from Helheim in a duel.

21 - Participated as a fighter in the Crimson Chaos of the Cabbala under the guise of Aoi, however he lost rather horribly.

27 - Intervened in an attempt by Norokaldinok Othim to coerce the cabbit twins (the spawn of Taishou Ren, his superior) into giving one of themselves up for revenge from Noro. He scared off the red dragon by reminding him that Cabbalans have no authority in the JLE lands and had to warn off Star for encouraging Noro to hunt down the cabbits when the guard was not looking after the twin Masato threatened to report her.

30 - Accidentally mistook the balding, dying Lashier 'human' for another person and took him for the Okiya for food. Was deeply upset to find this form was what was left of an attempt to 'save' Lashier by the Mooncroft family and he was slowly dying. They set out to find a solution.

30 - Participated in the Seven Vipers underground fights, however he lost against Makki the Pooka in a rather... humiliating way... which extended into the samurai drunk-over in pixie dust rambling along the streets for a day.

3 - Prevented the Rakshasa 'Typhon' from killing the Nekoyami in charge of the Silver Spoon, but was defeated and burned in battle. He was rescued from the scene by Arianrhod and Mirah of the Naylte, plus Castien and Vigil. His kirin pelt was taken as a trophy and he spent the following days in the infirmary.

6 - Headed out in a expedition led by Ysa along with Tattul the rabbit-person, into the Hellscape. The expedition was successful but needed to be cut short due to exhaustion.

8 - Surveyed various citizens around the Empire about their satisfaction.

9 - Obtained a home and attended guard meeting. Right before, Helheim exploded.

11 - Alongside Asta, a fellow guard, prevented Dinnin from striking against Claes in revenge.

12 - Was part of the escort for the JLE relief efforts towards Helheim.

14 - Took his revenge on Typhon the Rakshasa along Asta and captured him.

17 - Fought for the JLE in a counter-raid into Cabbala Amartia's caverns, attacking the bridge and market in the squad under Tsuiteru's command. Helped rout the defenders, taking out a couple of them before being defeated by the end of the encounter, but was not injured enough to be deterred from ransacking the Cabbala's market after the bridge was destroyed.

21 - Fought in the Sewer Fight Night under an alias.

25 - Accompanied Herald Tsuiteru as bodyguard along with Hinami-chan in a diplomatic mission to Helheim. It was resolved without incident.

26 - Was given a new daisho by Lashier Moon. It resulted in a mild emotional breakdown.

27 - Was invited to the JLE closed court. There he was promoted to the rank of Samurai for his loyalty, and given the name 'Musashi' by the Emperor - thereby restoring his honor. He was then offered a spot by Mitsuki and Kaito in the Sasaki family clan. From now and until told otherwise, Nameless is known as Sasaki Musashi (within SL).

30 - Was present for the Imperial Army meet and greet, where he received the rank of samurai within the army too.

31 - Interrogated Nerloth within the JLE cells.

3 - Encountered a pixie named Luna who appeared corrupted by some sort of poison magic while on patrol. Managed to successfully coax her to the infirmary where Hinami and Hayase cleansed her. She recovered without incident.

8 - Spoke to the Black Tusks about the missing herald Tsuiteru. Received a lead to Helheim from Squat. Following through is pending.

10 - Was caught in the fores in the middle of the full moon as creatures became violent. Defeated and left for dead in an initial ambush he managed to win two more battles in self defense, however he was left severely injured with torn clothes and a broken sword.

12 - Attended JRC Wargames. His team won under Makkitotosimew's leadership, but he was defeated before the final round.

13/14 - Spoke with Lashier, who offered to repair his sword in time to the public guard spars, encouraging him to become a guard in the JLE slightly.

15 - Attended the public sparring event as part of the Army. Sparred against and defeated Lashier before being defeated by Tori, Lashier's father along with Mickael Moon who had come to attend.

18 - Had something of a public anxiety attack after Lashier noticed and attempted to pull out one of his metal growths, prompting him to swat the pixie and draw a crowd...

22 - Attended the Earth Blessing.

26 - Attended JRC Wargames. His team won under Ren's leadership, one of his fellow guards. He survived to victory along with Hayase and Hinami.

27- Escorted Ysabel Moon as a bodyguard into the swamps surrounding Cabbala territory. Though they stumbled into a fight in progress, they managed to explore without incident.
