A single voice fills the entire throne room deep within the palace. A ringing cacophony of chimes, bells, and static echoed for several moments. The figure perched upon a throne in the likeness of a serpent's maw watched as every single one of his servants stopped in their tracks. Their bodies convulsed in unison, and after a moment, their heads suddenly explode. He closes his eyes for a moment, listening to the sound of bodies hitting the floor, and then he opens them once more. His gaze settled on the colossal being before him, seemingly unfazed by it.
"𝒜𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊?" The Emperor finally speaks, his voice sibilant and heavily accented, his serpent-like eyes not once looking away from whatever occupied the room with him. "𝒮𝓊𝓇𝑒, 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝒷𝑜𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓁𝓂𝓈, 𝒜𝒷𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐵𝑒𝓁𝑜𝓌, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒?" He shifts slightly, reaching for the sword resting at his side. "𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝓇𝓊𝓁𝑒 𝓃𝑜𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔. 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓃 𝓈𝑜..𝑔𝑜𝒹𝓈 𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝑔𝑜. 𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓎 𝑒𝒾𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒹𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝒾𝓇 𝒿𝑜𝒷, 𝑜𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓎 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝒾𝓇𝓇𝑒𝓁𝑒𝓋𝒶𝓃𝓉." His tone was calm, cold. He leans back in his seat again, fingers lazily tracing along the blade now resting in his lap. "𝒟𝑜 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓀𝓃𝑜𝓌 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒽𝒶𝓅𝓅𝑒𝓃𝓈 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝒶 𝑔𝑜𝒹 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓈 𝒾𝓇𝓇𝑒𝓁𝑒𝓋𝒶𝓃𝓉?"
The faceless being seems to shake with rage. It sweeps all four of its hands through the air, smashing several pillars nearby. Debris flew throughout the room, clipping into a handful of the serpentine statues.
"𝕎ℍ𝕆 𝔸ℝ𝔼 𝕐𝕆𝕌 𝕋𝕆 𝔸𝕊𝕊𝕌𝕄𝔼 𝕐𝕆𝕌ℝ𝕊𝔼𝕃𝔽 𝔸𝕊 𝔸ℝ𝔹𝕀𝕋𝔼ℝ?"
With an aura of indignance, it raises a hand before unleashing another earth-shaking howl. The sound is a horrid amalgamation of man, woman, and machine, screaming. Then, the deafening shockwave came, razing every inch of stone around it. The entire ceiling collapses instantly, light from the midday sun pouring in.
"𝕐𝕆𝕌 𝕌𝕊𝔼𝔻 𝕄𝔼 𝕋𝕆 ℝ𝔸𝕀𝕊𝔼 ℍ𝕀𝕄. 𝕋𝕆 𝕋𝕆ℝ𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔼 𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝕆ℕ𝔼 𝕐𝕆𝕌 𝕃𝕆𝕍𝔼𝔻 𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝕄𝕆𝕊𝕋.."
The booming voice suddenly subsides as the entity lunges for the Emperor's throne, stopping just an inch away from the man. And then, it speaks again, in a woman's voice.
"Mortals Like You Disgust Me. Do You Truly Love Him? Or Is He Just A Tool To You? Like I Was? Yaulekai Will Never Be The Same. He Will Never Love You Again For What You Have Done."
These words seemed to have struck a nerve in Yi-Shoon now, and his expression darkens instantly.
"𝒲𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒹𝑜 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓀𝓃𝑜𝓌 𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒, 𝐼𝓂𝓅𝑒𝓇𝒾𝓊𝓂? 𝐼 𝓂𝒶𝓎 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓁𝒾𝓋𝑒𝒹 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝒶 𝒻𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝒶 𝓂𝒶𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑒. 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝓀𝒾𝓃𝒹 𝑜𝒻 𝓂𝒶𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒻𝑒𝑒𝓁𝓈 𝓃𝑜 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓌𝒾𝓁𝓁 𝓃𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇, 𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝒻𝑒𝑒𝓁 𝓈𝓊𝒸𝒽 𝒶 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓃𝑜𝓇 𝓊𝓃𝒹𝑒𝓇𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒾𝓉." Yi-Shoon slowly stands to his full height as he speaks, his voice unwavering. His hand trembled ever so slightly as his grip tightened on the hilt of his weapon.
"𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝒶 𝒹𝒾𝒻𝒻𝑒𝓇𝑒𝓃𝒸𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓂𝒾𝓃𝑒. 𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝒶 𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓈𝑜𝓃 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝐼 𝒹𝒾𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓂𝓎 𝒽𝓊𝓈𝒷𝒶𝓃𝒹." Yi-Shoon's lips pull back slightly into a fanged grimace. "𝒲𝒽𝒾𝓁𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓀𝒾𝓃𝒹 𝓈𝒶𝓉 𝓊𝓅 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒, 𝓈𝒾𝓂𝓅𝓁𝓎 𝓌𝒶𝓉𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒 𝓅𝒶𝓈𝓈, 𝐼 𝓈𝓅𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝓂𝓎 𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒 𝒲𝐼𝒮𝐸𝐿𝒴. 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒 𝓂𝓎 𝑒𝓂𝓅𝒾𝓇𝑒 𝒻𝑒𝓁𝓁, 𝐼 𝓈𝓅𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝓈𝑜 𝓂𝓊𝒸𝒽 𝒾𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓌𝒶𝓎 𝑜𝒻 𝒷𝓁𝑜𝑜𝒹, 𝓈𝓌𝑒𝒶𝓉, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈 𝓉𝑜 𝓇𝑒𝒷𝓊𝒾𝓁𝒹 𝓂𝓎 𝒽𝑜𝓂𝑒..𝓂𝓎 𝓅𝑒𝑜𝓅𝓁𝑒. 𝐼 𝓀𝓃𝑒𝓌 𝒾𝓉 𝓌𝑜𝓊𝓁𝒹 𝒷𝑒 𝒶 𝓂𝑜𝓃𝓊𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒶𝓁 𝑒𝒻𝒻𝑜𝓇𝓉, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓈 𝓌𝒾𝓁𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝓅𝒶𝓎 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓅𝓇𝒾𝒸𝑒. 𝒜𝓃𝒹 𝐼 𝒮𝒯𝐼𝐿𝐿 𝒶𝓂, 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒹𝒶𝓎. 𝒮𝑜 𝓉𝑒𝓁𝓁 𝓂𝑒, '𝒢𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉 𝒢𝑜𝓁𝒹𝑒𝓃 𝒢𝑜𝒹'.." The Emperor raises his weapon, the mirror-like blade catching the sunlight briefly, holding a beautiful shimmer. A stark contrast next to the emperor's grim scowl. He spits venom as he bellows.
"𝒲𝐻𝒜𝒯 𝐼𝒮 𝐼𝒯 𝒯𝐻𝒜𝒯 𝒴𝒪𝒰 𝐻𝒜𝒱𝐸 𝒢𝐼𝒱𝐸𝒩 𝐹𝒪𝑅 𝒴𝒪𝒰𝑅 𝒯𝐻𝑅𝒪𝒩𝐸?"
"What Have I Given?" Imperium pauses, considering Yi-Shoon's words as they resonate through the chamber. "Enough To Be-"
"𝓢𝓲𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮."
"𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓲𝓼 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓹𝓮𝓷𝓼 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝓪 𝓰𝓸𝓭 𝓫𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓲𝓻𝓻𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓿𝓪𝓷𝓽." Yi-Shoon hisses through his clenched teeth before bringing the blade down. Using every ounce of his strength, he plunges the blade into the center of Imperium's skull. There's a sort of thrumming that starts up, the space within the crown-like ring adorning the Seraph's head igniting. The sound grows louder as the light and the heat intensify.
"𝕀 𝕎𝕀𝕃𝕃 𝕋𝔸𝕂𝔼 𝕐𝕆𝕌 𝕎𝕀-"
Imperium is interrupted, however. Yi-Shoon grunts and drives the blade deeper, before snapping the hilt of the weapon clean off. The light eclipses into a blinding flash, a chorus of agonized screams pouring from Imperium. The sounds came to an abrupt stop, and when the light fades, there is no longer a Seraph there. In the entity's place is a large, oval mirror framed with gold. Yi-Shoon huffs and falls back down into his seat, the hilt of his former blade slipping from his grasp and clattering to the ground at his feet. A handful of figures that had entered the ruined chamber had caught his attention, and he gestures dismissively with a single hand to them. "𝒯𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝑔𝑒𝓉 𝓇𝒾𝒹 𝑜𝒻 𝒾𝓉. 𝐼 𝒸𝒶𝓃𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝒾𝓉 𝒶𝓃𝓎 𝓁𝑜𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓇."
As the mirror is hauled away, a single figure could be seen contained within the crystalline glass. Divinum Imperium. The sealed Seraphinaar slammed its fists fruitlessly against the glass of its new prison, its howls of rage going unheard.
