Anachronist, like many Legacy Pravda, set out for paradoxical naming once she understood the concept of a name. Thanks to Meraki's love of Greco-Roman culture, Anachronist was born in Ancient Greece, where she was thankfully 'adopted', in a manner of speaking. Due to her odd alien nature, the Greeks simply referred to her as 'anachronismus', a common wrong time reference. Before long, she had taken a variation of the phrase as name, striving to turn it into a more rounded thought.
Before long, The term 'Anachronism' was coined for her antics, seeming to have no compulsion for subtlety when it came to flaunting her time travel abilities. Due to her Grecian roots, the spelling of the word changed over time, and the variant changed her own spelling to mirror this. In this way, a young Anakronist can be differentiated from a mature Anachronist.

Anachronist is torn between a need to be distinguishable out of time, as well as a desire to stay under the radar from her own kind. As such, she is almost always seen one with one mask or another, giving her a means of killing two birds with one stone. While she has many, her favorite by far seems to be based rather fittingly on the white rabbit from Wonderland.
This character uses her ability to manipulate time and space for MANY purposes, most of which are likely overkill. Most notably, she keeps a ring of keys attached to her body at all time, known as 'Quantum Keys'. A creation of her own devising, these keys work in a variety of different ways to reduce the time necessary to build portals. The most special of these keys acts as a home away from home, allowing her access to her own pocket dimension, where she does most of her work and study.
Aiding in this work, Anachronist can often be seen flanked by clockwork critters of her own design. While each serves a different purpose, only one seems to serve much purpose other than killing boredom: A clockwork sparrow ocassionally referred to by Anachronist as "Solecist". As far as anyone can tell, Anachronist is capable of communicating with this bird via some sort of lumora link, he seems to have a bit of an attitude.┌
