    • Personality: A little aloof. Ro's been a soldier for upwards of five years, having witnessed the deaths of many of his companions over the years. But his pride at surviving only barely outweighs his guilt over living longer than them. He's a sort of solitary creature.

  • Time is Money, friend

    Roland Sylvester was raised near the outskirts of a large city near a trading port. His mother's father owned an Apothecary's shop, while his father was a weaponsmith, which made the people that young Roland met quite the odd bunch. Many times, he'd see soldiers passing through, or he'd talk with hunters, and every so often he'd catch sight of a criminal or a pirate.

    As he grew older, he was inspired by both the nurturing natures from his parents, but also the desire for order and a reduction in criminal activities. So, he became a soldier at the age of fifteen, training and practicing for at least two years beforehand. His parents weren't thrilled with his choice, but they stood by nevertheless in case he wanted to return to them.

    Roland's never taken the time for a romantic relationship, though he does tend to get a little soft over the thought of a certain man whenever he comes back to town. But since the age of 20, he's taken to going on solitary trips, whether for work as a soldier, though he's leaving the infantry soon, jobs as a mercenary, an occupation that is quickly becoming his passion, and sometimes just an occasional hunting trip.

    Depending on the story, rather than a soldier, he will be a Knight.
