    Antony is often received as the responsible older brother. Having essentially grown up at a young age, the elder Ricci brother seems to personify everything expected of the eldest brother. Despite the burden on his shoulders to maintain his appearance, Tony seems to bear the world with barely a wince of discomfort. Often viewed as someone intimidating between his height, his stature, and the natural intensity of his focus, Antony can and often does seem like an immovable force of determination once his mind is set on something.

    Far more obvious to the people sheltered in Antony's circle are the efforts he goes through to maintain some semblance of peace and security. He cares deeply for the people who matter in his life to a fault. He has no qualms in doing whatever is necessary beyond the basic necessities. While he is an avid cook, and relishes in care through feeding, Antony will not hesitate to draw blood for those who matter. His brother, as his closest link, is absolutely someone he would defend to the death.

  • Backstory

    • Born in Vernazza, Cinque Terre, Italy as the firstborn son. He is the elder brother of Cato. His early mind is oblivious to the struggles that come to fruition - the medical bills his parents incurred, the debt and subsequent borrowing from the Sicilian mob, and the essential trouble his parents find themselves. Antony is kept out of the loop, but he still builds a strong bond with his brother and a strong sense of needing to protect him. He learns the core skills necessary to bloom his love for cooking as well. When his parents die in the suspected car accident, his world is rocked hard on its foundation and he does everything in his power to hold his brother even closer.

    • Antony and Cato are both sent to live in New York City with their Nonna. He sets out to start working right away to help support them both at whatever odd jobs will accept a fresh immigrant.

    • When Cato moves away, Antony makes the decision to let him at first if only to allow him to build a life without being overshadowed. He eventually makes a decision to go visit his brother if only to see how his new life is doing with a carefully saved for vacation to Los Suenos after a long road trip filled with a lot of hitchhiking.

  • Plot Connections

    Work: To be able to afford his extended trip in Los Suenos, Tony obviously needs to be able to pick up whatever odd jobs someone might need of him. Transport? Cooking? Bodyguard? Bouncer? Delivery boy? He'll take on any quick jobs asked of him.

    Place to stay: Since he's still hunting down his brother and can't impose for a place to stay, some quick landing points could be interesting. This can apply pretty much at any point since Tony likely doesn't settle for any real home regardless.

    Other: Obviously, there's a lot of open room for what Tony does and what he gets involved in as well as who. I'm keeping a lot of his story very open to leave a lot of room for any kind of connections that might just swing his way. Getting involved with unsavory types, getting swept into random situations, the sky is quite literally the limit on this one. He's just an italian boy ripe for whatever the universe has in store for him.

    • I work full time as a veterinary technician, sometimes full 12hr days.
    • As a general rule, my availability is open with limitations on work days - I'm usually just too braindead on the long days to do much more thinking.

    • This character is exclusively for use in The Excessive Eighties
    • Overall, I'm open to pretty much anything when it comes to IC interactions. As long as I'm not facing an unexpected death or severe injury of my character, I'll consider it all worth being on the table.
    • Don't expect fast ties and immediate connections - those are never fun and often fall apart more easily than anything else. I want the story to build. I want the evolution and growth to happen. I want to make you cry, smile, and laugh through the natural evolution of a character from point A to point B.
    • I've got no issues with private vs. public rp, but at this time I'm only available for RP on Discord. Otherwise, bring on the one-on-ones, the groups, and anywhere in between.
    • Please no under 18 IC/OOC interactions. I'm also not interested in AU roleplays.
    • Please, please, please keep the OOC drama out of my day. I want RP for the fun, the building, and I'm all for the IC drama. But OOC? There's no need for that. Talk to me, be open and honest with me, and we'll all have a good time.
