The L'avarians

If it is their blood that purifies the corruption, then let them bleed.

The unwilling slave children of L’ara Velia, the Virtues, and the Powers that Be; these sisters of battle are both equal parts solemn piety and unrelenting all consuming relentless zealotry. Be kind to the L’avarian, for the pyres that purge the wicked from the world are built from their shattered bones.

The L’avarian order was born during the first age of blight following the rise of the insurrectionist Goddess Arethcoina, whose unholy blood and plagues poisoned the earth twisting it into an unholy mockery of life. Seeking to staunch the flow of corruption, the women of the church were gathered by L’ara Velia, and converted into the unwilling servants of the divine. A living and burning panacea to stand against the rising of the filth, curing the sick, burning through the infection, and cleaning the lands safe and holy, even if it meant burning the whole world down.

Though every Cleric is a warrior of the light, not every Cleric is a soldier, many are more simple folk working as priestesses, medical workers, and servants of people and church. Tirelessly they work desperately to hold everyone together through the strike fostering hope and managing discontent. Though they act as the unwilling slaves of the divine, many have found great purpose in their sacred duties and carry out their task with undeniable pride and jubilance.
