Sam Winchester

"Yes, Lucifer indeed was in alert mode one could say when it came about reactions and little gestures, any particular small thing could mean so much in his point of view, every detail Sam gave to him, Lucifer was extremely focused on. Nowadays Lucifer himself can't be sure about so many things, even when things were meant to be written down, every being had the choice at the end on what to do, what to pick. Lucifer wanted to believe back then that something good was meant to happen to him, but fate and Sam's desitions said otherwise. Then Lucifer changed, despite trying to keep some of his old self deep inside, covering it with lies or, most likely, puting up a wall to protect himself. That's what he was nowadays, sadly, and if he ended up changing or not, he can't tell. His father hurt him too much, cut him too deep. The archangel didn't seem to see an end to all of it if he had to be honest.

And Sam could think so high of him right now, but in reality that was mostly a shadow of what he once was, a broken shell. Lucifer has changed so much since the day he broke free from the Cage and met him for the first time, going back into the cage only made things worse, and coming out once again... Well, he isn't sure anymore which was the time that hurt him the most. All of these times had a really bad ending for him after all. And now? Sam's reaction regarding that soft kiss only makes the archangel squint his eyes in confusion. He could have said so many things for an answer, but ignoring the action like it had never happened?

Lucifer stood in his spot without turning to look back at the Winchester, since now the boy got up and moved away. He chose to ask a question about what he wanted to do now... Lucifer smiled to himself. Placing back the so usual mask he wears nowadays. Better not to indulge in Sam's mind and at what the hell did he think in that moment. Who knows! He shrugged, crossing his arms. Took a seat over his bed and pretended that Sam wasn't there for now, trying to focus at one of the books he was reading before.

His father's voice inside his head didn't seem to be helping though, he could tell Sam about it, but prefered to ignore it all, both as a whole. That was what he was planning on doing, until Chuck decided to mess up with Sam and hurt him. Lucifer stared at the boy going to his knees, struggling to breathe and he got up slowly from the bed, leaving the book aside for now. He had two choices now, ignore Chuck, or ignore Sam. Or he could ignore them both and just don't give a fuck anymore about anything. Thing is that seeing Sam in pain bothers him more than he thought, at least when others are the ones hurting him. If anyone had a right here to hurt Sam, that's him and him alone. He took in a deep breathe, tried to ignore Chuck's doings and brushed his forehead with a couple of fingers.

'Do whatever you want, I don't care anymore.' He thought, replying to Chuck, not caring if Sam thought it was him the one behind the pain. 'These kids are so used to die and come back it's boring at this point. Hell, kill me as well if that makes you happy, but Oh... Right, you won't.' He thought, chuckling, shrugging while staring above, crossing his arms once again. 'You know why? Because you prefer others doing the dirty work. Just like how you asked me and my siblings to do all the things you needed, and when you got bored, you threw us away.' He stared down at Sam later, softening the look in his face, part of him seemed to look numb, cold. But what else he could do? It was God after all. Both were at his mercy, so... The best he could do was just ignore him, showing him that he didn't care, which in fact, it wasn't a lie. Not entirely. 'If you thought I cared for him, better check on your writing, because I am not who I used to be anymore.' Added later."
