    Joon Ho self-medicates quite a bit to ensure he can continue to do his work. He will use a combination of uppers and downers appropriate to the setting, for productivity and sleep, respectively. He will shift from casual to severe use depending on external stressors, which will interact significantly with various mental health diagnoses, up to and including suicidal ideation and attempts. Man is an addict, sometimes in recovery.

    Joon Ho is an exploration in Concurrent Disorders. His stories will revolve around how trauma, mental illness, and substance use/misuse will interact in someone who is otherwise capable, kind, and intelligent.

    Joon Ho may be a bit of a mess, and too curious for his own good, but he is ultimately a kind person, who should probably think ahead a little more before giving his rations and blankets away just because someone asked. He can be easily dismissed as naïve, but blocking out the most cynical interpretation of people and the world is very much a coping mechanism. That, and getting high - both work.

    He has a cat named Whisky, who's off somewhere... He'll be back for snuggles when it gets cold.

    Joon Ho has a pretty average build, but his poor physical health generally keeps him on the lean side. He perpetually needs a haircut but haven't gotten around to it yet. He wears glasses with black frames that makes his light brown eyes look bigger.

    CW - Limb Loss
    Joon Ho lost his left leg, above the knee during his time at the Academy. Now a prosthetic with mechanical implants at integration. His body never quite accepted the cheap replacement, and the chronic rejection meant his immune system has weakened over time. While the frame is straight tech, installed when he didn't have access to better options, he's been grafting stronger and more adaptive bio tissues into the joints to ease discomfort. It requires constant maintenance and Joon Ho is seen tinkering with it daily.

    He has scars and callouses, mostly on his hands and knuckles, plus electrical burn like branching tree roots, mostly the result of fucking around and being very much interested in finding out. Towel draped over his shoulder, he's usually covered in grease, or dirt, or...something.
