They have two rich and overly proper parents who expected absolute perfection from them at every turn. As no child can possibly live up to that standard they were punished often. These punishments were very rarely physical though, instead they tore at their mental state, resulting in them forcing up a guard of indifference under all circumstances. Along with these standards they were also forced to take care of chores from a young age, even if both parents were free and could complete the task themselves. Worst of all was that they were denied the ability to love out their gender identity or sexuality, forcing themselves into the closet for many years. From this they grew up resenting their parents, and when their eighteenth birthday at long last arrived they ran away with very little supplies or care for where they were going.
