    Born and raised in Onomichi, Hiroshima, Akihiko lived a fairly normal life with his mother and father. His mother was an immigrant from America and his father was a Japanese citizen from birth. Akihiko never really learned any combat skills and is very unfamiliar in the world of magic, though he seems to have a natural psychic connection to animals.

    Aki is a bit of an idiot when it comes to other people's feelings, often accidentally offending people or missing advances on him. He's also very easily distracted, his attention span rivaling that of a child's. He's never had a serious romance before, as people mainly avoided him in school.
