Emmyth Yhetui

Emmyth's life in the royal family of Fharun was far from easy. He was the only one of his kind among the warrior race, having been adopted by King Orrian after his own people perished in an act of merciful suicide. Unlike his brothers and sisters who towered over him, Emmyth was small, fragile, and delicate. Though he held remarkable power of his own, he was unable to wield magic and was often mocked by his new family members for his appearance and lack of strength.

As all men in the royal family of Fharun, Emmyth was expected to undergo training to mold him into a powerful man who could carry the weight of his subjects' needs and defend them whenever necessary. But he consistently fell short of this, unable to lift the large weapons or move swiftly in full armor, even those fashioned for his smaller than average frame. Even his attempts at ranged weaponry were abysmal, and he was completely useless during an actual hunt.

Despite the constant attacks on his manhood and his appearance, Emmyth remained true to his nature for a time; kind-hearted, warm, and loving to those around him. He would often whisk himself away to the royal library to read and study, where he discovered his true talents lay in scholarship rather than fighting and sorcery. However, being adopted was never easy for him, and he was subjected to ruthless teasing, pranks, and scrutiny. Even children born after him tended to make a mockery of him after they had reached an age where childish playfulness was a thing of the past.

As time went by, Emmyth became fed up with the constant mockery and decided to create a caricature of himself. It was an exaggerated derision of his siblings and the royals; bratty and extravagant. All the things they mocked him on became proud traits that he harnessed like weapons. He was no longer too weak to hold a weapon, he was simply too important and rich to have to defend himself. His feminine appearance was no longer a shameful sign of opposition to his powerfully large and muscular brothers, but instead everyone else simply couldn't be as perfect and handsome as he was.

The caricature Emmyth had created did its intended job. The Fharians looked and treated him differently, and while Emmyth greatly enjoyed the ease of mockery, it came at quite a great price. He found it hard to connect with people genuinely as he refused to drop his character out of fear of rejection. In time, he decided that being alone was the best thing he could do for himself and everyone else. As a result, he became a shut-in, rarely leaving the palace walls and barely speaking to anyone.

As the years passed, rumors began to circulate about the beautiful reclusive prince who could only ever be seen from a distance, standing at his balcony and looking over the great walls at the city beyond. Emmyth's rude and arrogant demeanor often drove people away, and even the servants found him somewhat unbearable. An eternal longing for kinship and community that was embedded in his DNA fell under attack by his own hands. Despite his great power and beauty, Emmyth remained a prisoner of his own creation, unable to find the connection he craved.

Emmyth had always been captivated by Princess Aurora's artistic prowess. Each piece she created, be it art or music, was a vision of radiance and grace. She stood over him at 5'8" and had long golden locks that cascaded down her back. Her eyes as blue as the noon sky. He would often find himself lost in thoughts of her, daydreaming about the magnificent works they'd make together.

He was once a young, naive man who had a romanticized and otherworldly idea of love. He was captivated by the beauty and grace of Princess Aurora, and his heart and soul burned with a depth of feeling that would be unfathomable to most. Emmyth's love for Aurora was pure and reverent; he had no sexually charged ambitions with her. Emmyth and Aurora would spend endless hours together creating magnificent works of art and going on thoughtfully planned outings. Emmyth was always meticulous in arranging grand trips for her, and at one point, the two were inseparable. He was certain that Aurora was unlike the others, that she was able to see past his small frame and stature and into his very soul.

Emmyth couldn't help the way he felt about Aurora. He would find excuses to be in her presence, offering to carry her belongings or escort her to royal events. Every time he looked at her, he felt a stirring in his heart that he could not explain. His love for her was unyielding, but it was also unrequited. Aurora saw Emmyth as only a friend and the kindest of people, someone who was always there for her when she needed him.
