A bit on the tall size for a girl, Mira is about five foot eight inches. Currently she weighs roughly only a hundred and twenty five pounds. She keeps in shape by running and swimming. Her long brown hair can often be found in a messy up do or scrunched and wavy. Living next to the beach her wardrobe mostly consist of bikinis and cover up dresses with flip flops, loose fitting flowy dresses, or shorts and tank tops. On those rare night out occasions into the city, you may find her in jeans and a nice blouse. Mira's over all style is relaxed and carefree.

Typically, Mira is an outgoing adventurous spirit. She loves meeting new people and getting lost in the crowd. More often than not, she can be found dancing around or chatting up the new person in town. She is the type to live life to the fullest with a smile. What most don't realize is that Mira hides her demons deep in her. Being face to face with death as much as she is, Mira tends to have more appreciation for life. Death comes swiftly and unexpectedly. She has seen so much of that in her few short years with her gift. She has chosen a fun career that she loves with a passion. Mira is not the type to live life just to get by. She really lives life to the fullest. The word no is hardly in her vocabulary as she is willing to try almost everything at least once. Overall she is sweet and willing to hang out with anyone. When her darker moments take over, Mira is the type to hide until it passes. She doesn't share those moments with anyone unless she is really close to them.

The one thing Mira is not going to do is get stuck in a boring job that she hates. She need something creative and that keeps her interest. This is why taking the photographer and journalist position at the local magazine was perfect for her. Mira spends her time running around the beach town setting up photo shoots for models and advertisement. Her favorite types of photos to take is that of nature and natural settings. She rather a shot be real and honest rather than set up and manipulated. The tourist town gives this the perfect opportunities for more natural interactions. Often she could be found with her camera just taking whatever pictures she can for the magazine. The editor has given her complete creative freedom in her position.
✴✴✴Becoming ✴✴✴
At age thirteen, Mira's life changed forever. She did not know much about her family blood line as she was adopted by a new family when her parents were murdered. The first full moon after the her thirteen birthday, she was called to the ocean and that call could not be ignored. Fear had struck through her as she did not know what was going on. Her entire body acted on instinct as if it was a natural process. After the ocean lures her into the water, a force pretty much drowns the girl pulling her deeper and deeper into the black waters. Once the last bit of air leaves her lungs, her body begins the transformation. The shift in her body from human to mermaid for the first time was a painful one. Legs are replaced by a beautiful colorful tail and soon breathing underwater becomes the most natural thing. Little did the she know that becoming a mermaid had a whole another world of secrets and responsibilities.
✴✴✴Abilities✴✴✴
After one becomes a mermaid, they receive other abilities other than a tail and breathing underwater. Each mermaid receives a path that life has chosen and a gift. Mira's gift was not one that she particular liked nor wanted. Mira was a Soul Guide. When someone died at sea their souls become lost until a Soul Guide finds them. Typically the soul wanders in a state of lost and confusion. Some souls are violent and manipulative especially if they don't want to leave this world and cross to where ever their faith takes them in the afterlife. While in her mermaid form, if a soul had died in the area she is swimming they will find her. The souls are drawn to the Soul Guide and seek help crossing over so they are no longer lost and confused. When a soul refuses to cross over after being found, they become a Haunt. These souls typically become violent and manipulative towards their Soul Guide. -
