Calenor

Calenor is a half-elf that left his family when he was younger. He had heard of so many stories from travelers coming through and getting help that he wanted to go out there and see the world himself. At the time, he had only lived with his mother. His father was like a mythic tale. His mother never spoke much about him and refused to tell any stories. As if his name was a curse that would plague them. He always found it weird, but he knew she hated the topic so he never brought it up.

When he felt he was old enough, he ran away, gathering what he could and making sure to grab enough money so that he could feed himself. He wanted to find his father and help his mother. He hadn't even gotten out of the woods they were in and after ten days he went back home to an angry mother and the whole village freaking out.

Calenor believed that was the start of the terrible relationship with his mother. After that, his mother wouldn't speak to him unless she had to. Calenor did the same, naturally. Once he was officially old enough and he knew he could fend for himself, he left home as quickly as he could. He left a note, explaining how he felt and that he wasn't going out for her or to find his father. He was going out to get away from everything he hated.

He had managed to find a man that taught him the way of firearms and even made him an apprentice until he was skilled enough to be left to his own devices. After learning that skill, he found someone who was skilled with blades. He learned some fighting styles with daggers and once he was given the pass, he left there, too.

He's been a nomad since, showing up at other elf pronvinces and getting some comments here and there about how odd his interests are, but he is still welcomed to stay there until he's ready to leave. He likes to think it's because he usually cleans up after himself before he goes. A habit he formed during his travels.

However, Calenor is someone who make friends with unlikely people. He's picky about his friends, quick on his feet and head, can play a tune here and there on an ocarina he keeps in a side pocket on his bag. He likes the sound and finds the tunes he plays sad, but calming.

Some facts:
Calenor is observant of things around him, particuarly people. If he sees someone who is touchy, he'd make sure to stay clear of said person.
He can't sit still to save his life. He's constantly moving. Whether it be messing with the stray strings from his clothes or anything that he had fiddle with if he has to sit still. He can't stand not having something to do.
He has an accent. It's between that posh confidence and a sort of country twang. It's a weird mix so some words he says will be said differently and he loves it.
He really likes to make people guess his age and turn it into a game. Like play stupid games, win stupid prizes situation. He can't help himself. He thinks it's the funniest joke ever. He'll make himself laugh to the point where he can't talk.
He really likes fresh bread. He mixes in some sugar into his butter and spreads it on hot bread. He's in heaven. Nothing can ruin his day. Cloud nine reached. Homie has left Earth.
He can't stand the snow. He hates it. It's his enemy and he vows to kill it one day.
Phobias: Drowning. He can swim, but he hates it. Sickness. He can;t satnd being sick. He'll make it worse on himself because he'll go into a panic if he ever does get sick.
