Astera Venus

this was originally a danny phantom oc but its moldable to fit other fandoms too!

Ghost form
To begin with the elephant in the room, yes, Astera is part ghost. Why? Well, one, because I'm basic, just like all the others, And two, it would add drama. Now enough of my opinions, I will get into how the peculiar event of them turning into one happened.

You see, it was… purposeful, of his parents to leave him for dead in the tundra. The biting cold mixed with the wild animals did not help him at all when it came to survival, and he had barely survived two months before succumbing to injuries and freezing to death.

But, it turns out, Clockwork had a plan for Astera. They were soon brought to him, and explained how everything would work. Either out of pity or no reason, Astera was forever grateful for the odd ghost man,

But of course, it had its strings attached. Once Astera had fully died again, he would be his accomplice for the rest of eternity, helping him do tasks and such. Though it was risky, as Astera could die any time, it's certainly better than wandering around the Ghost Zone, looking for something to take out his anger on.

Ghost Form Appearance
Although just as important as his human form, Astera seems to be in a state of hating it and loving it at the same time.

His hair was jet black, small and unnoticeable white streaks trailing down his hair, as well as his skin turning a sickeningly pale blue, his Vitiligo following suit with a ghostly white. His eyes were the color of Lapis, and he sported a white and dark blue baseball tee with short sleeves, with beige cargo pants and black boots.

The unsettling part, for Astera at least, is the evidence of his death. Snow frosted underneath his eyes, and ice almost fully took over his nose, beginning at the tip, and ending at the start of his nose bridge. Ice caked onto his fingertips and the scar that marks his face.

Abilities
Although he's aware his powers are dangerous, and he's practiced them enough to the point where it could be life threatening to a person, he really doesn't care for it that much, despite living in a place that's stock full of random ghost appearances.

Personality
Although seeming like a saint, afraid to hurt a fly, Astera is not against condescending anybody who even looks or breathes on him wrong. He’s a smartass, and alike to 50% of these kinds of people, he lays low and is very antisocial. Not to the point where he has crippling social anxiety, but to the extent that his patience is thinner than a strand of hair.

Talking to him is like waving a red flag in front of a bull if he doesn't know you. One wrong turn and it begins to charge. Although he does seem like the kind to treat everybody wrong no matter what they do for him, that part is pretty untrue.

When lady luck IS on your side, he may even start opening up, showing a kinder side than anyone has seen before. If you somehow manage to get to that level, kudos to you, it seems your patience is larger than the sun.

When he actually knows a person, he’ll be jokingly sarcastic, but not to a mean extent. Occasionally, he’ll begin rambling to you about his interests, and won't stop unless interrupted, or he realizes he's talking too much. Either way, he’ll brush it off and move onto a different topic.

Inside, he's a genuinely nice person. But the abandoning of him in the tundra, along with the lack of social interaction, has caused him to build bedrock walls around his feelings.

The scarce feeling of warmth he pulls after when he was abandoned will never be forgotten, and he seeks violence on most who remind him of his parents
