Aubree stands tall and commanding, a vision of beauty and strength. Her long blonde hair flows down to her waist in waves of soft, sunlit gold. It feels like silk to the touch, often twisted into intricate braids that seem to capture the light, giving her an ethereal quality. Her deep, ocean-blue eyes are a striking contrast—able to soften with a warmth that draws you in or harden into a cold, unreadable mask that reveals nothing of her thoughts. When Aubree was born, there was peace in her life. Her pack, located in a medium sized town in Scotland that was surrounded by forestry, had lived there for generations, and had a heavy hand in the process of the forest, and wood trades. The access also allowed her pack to get out at night, and on full moons without any dangers of ever running into the humans. They could run, hunt, feed, play. Anything they wished to do was easily accessed. The wolves were also fully integrated into the towns society. All of them attended school from kindergarten on, and other than one or two incidents that required a little smooth talk from the Alpha, no problems ever truly arose.

Aubree's birth was celebrated, because it meant the mark of the new Alpha. She was the only child of her parents, and despite the peace in their lives, she was still trained as an Alpha and a wolf. She had daily tasks, daily chores, daily lectures and meetings with her father, the Alpha at the time, routines that were very specific. She also had school, and one or two after school programs. She was, overall, a brave, but happy child. This is not to say that Aubree never had fun. She spent hours playing with her pack mates, particularly one boy, named Lucas. She and Lucas became fast, and very close friends when they were children, and it was he Aubree wanted to give her heart too. Before long, though, fate would show her how very wrong she was.

Blissfully unaware at the time, Aubree grew up beautiful and strong. Her wolf began awakening when she turned 13, and it was a struggle for a few months as her body prepared her for its first change. She knew the change was coming, but it wasn't quite enough to stop the moodiness that came along with being a teenaged wolf. When it finally happened, as she was standing in the middle of her backyard after snapping at her parents for what had to be the hundredth time that week, it was nothing less than liberating. It was nothing short of euphoric to have it all make sense again. The power that coursed through her fuelled her that night, making everything that had been blurred as sharp and as clear as crystal.
