Sionia Venra

Sionia was found as a very young child at the gate to the castle. The Venra Royal Family saw this small, delicate elven child and decided to take her in. They had been plagued with the inability to have children, so she was seen as a blessing. As such, she was kept safe from the world; in her eyes, she was locked into the castle. She wanted to experience the world.

Sionia was named as the future successor to the throne. For the most part, this was well received. However, some members of the family held resentment for her. They deserved the throne more than her, after all... She was just an abandoned child.

She was taught etiquette, how to read and write, how to balance the coffers... but she didn't care. She wanted to leave, and was often seen outside the safety of the castle walls. She even wandered into the forest more than once. It was a magical place, and she felt her soul cried out for it. Unfortunately, her habit of sneaking out made her a target for assassins.
