    Yuta has a complex story. He grew up thinking that he was an average person and had no idea he had powers. His childhood best friend was killed in front of him and being unable to accept his friend's death, by begging for them not to die he cursed them and his friend came back as a cursed spirit haunting him and hurting everyone who hurts him. Before his friend's death, they made an agreement to get married when they grow up.

    Growing up being haunted, Yuta was very timid and unconfident in himself. Everyone either bullied him or steered clear of him. At some point, he thought he should isolate himself to protect others from himself and the curse that comes with him. Later on, he broke the curse he had placed on his friend as a child and his friend's soul could go free. Later on, he learned to create shikigamis and the one he created looked the same as his friend when she was cursed to be a monster.

    Ever since he found friends and stopped being haunted, Yuta has undergone significant character growth. He is no longer timid. Instead, he just comes off as reserved sometimes. When needed, he can act apathetic and serious like someone who would not bat their eye trice about killing a cursed spirit that threatens people. Yuta can be very protective and with a strong sense of justice, righteousness, and duty. Though being human, Yuta can have a skewed view as well. Yuta absolutely hates when someone twists arguments to make themselves appear just when really they are just playing on words to make the argument be on their side. With his friends, nice people, and children Yuta is a joyful, warm individual. He often comes off as someone who has servant mentality and would rather think of someone else than himself first.
  • Power

    - Weapon - katana sword which can be filled with spiritual energy to make the attacks more deadly and effective
    - The Inumaki Clan's cursed speech cursed tool - a loud speaker which grants cursed speech ability to people who do not have the Inumaki clan's cursed speech power. By speaking into it, Yuta can command whoever he wants.
    - Cursing - Yuta can put a curse on people to turn them into monsters
    - Black Flash - a type of attack that utilizes spiritual energy in such a way that each landed hit deals 2.5 more strength than if the attack would be used normally. It is called the Black Flash because the color of the spiritual energy turns black. The attack can be landed a limited amount of times and the stronger the user, the more they can land it in a row.
    - Physical prowess - increased speed and strength due to change of spiritual energy flow through his body
    - Cursed Spirit Shikigami - a cursed spirit he can create as a weapon against the one he's fighting. It can deal attacks, protect, and heal.
