To put it plainly, a cult of the moon and Nyx-worshipping vampires who take pleasure in encouraging things to go bump in the night. Currently, their focus is on obtaining as much power as possible from both the moon and alchemy, by enchanting items such as weaponry or jewelry that enhance their ability to collect humans like cattle and summon creatures from hell. Worshippers refer to themselves as Children of Nyx, and all have the same purple-tinged and incredibly pallid skin with a purple moon located somewhere on their bodies.

Whilst their appearances make it difficult to hide their true identities, they use this downfall to their benefit and offer their magic abilities to the highest bidders... generally, someone who too wants to unleash hell for whatever petty reason they desire or enchant well-loved items.

Rituals of blood-letting and hypnotic dancing take place every full moon, with celebrations usually lasting several days on either side of it. This is when the Children's powers are at their height, and hellish beasts tend to slip out of the shadows a little easier than normal.
