    • Gender: They confuse a lot of people by not saying their gender, so they've been labeled Agender, which they don't mind (AMAB)

    • Sexality: Unlabeled (But I'd prefer mlm)
    • Height: 4'11" (Possibly adjustable)

    • Education: Currently attending highschool outside of Japan
    • Occupation: Currently unemployed
    • Extra: Hotaru had only been to Japan a few times, but his family still celebrates some Japanese traditions and the traditions where they are now since they've moved. He is new, but very popular throughout the school since his arrival. He's fluent in English and Japanese. He is NOT related to raccoons.

    Hotaru is a friendly, considerate, and cheerful person. While he can appear odd at times, especially when brought up the topic of his gender, he's a likeable person to say the least. He's always trying to be helpful, even when he tests the limits, and he's very sociable. He can get someone to open up, even when they don't realize it at first. He's loyal to his loved ones, supportive to everyone, and can be seen as annoying at times. He is gullible, clumsy, but he means well. He bounces back from every setback or insults, but if he's yelled at, it might take him a bit. He always strives to show his positivity, and he avoids showing when he's upset.

    Hotaru is someone who will never be seen angry or crying. He's not someone you'd expect to be acting selfish or close off.

    • Habits: Hotaru has a habit of introducing himself as 'Abe Hotaru' before correcting himself because his father taught him that it's Japanese tradition, sticking to someone--anyone--as long as he's not alone, not asking for permission, sleeping longer than most people/sleeping in, being loud (a lot-), slightly bouncing when he walks, his tail swishing behind him when he walks, talking faster/louder when he's excited, and growling when he'd angry/scared.
    • Fear(s): Hotaru fears being left alone for too long, being hurt, and open fire/flames.

    Hotaru loves attention, physical attention, sleeping, people he considers his 'special' friends, and dancing.
    Hotaru likes to socialize, but also listens to others. He enjoys making friends, nighttime, climbing trees, baking, and swimming. He'll eat without complaint just about every kind of food, but like home cooked meals the most. If you're lucky, you'll find him singing or humming, and dancing somewhere he's comfortable.
    Hotaru hates being alone for too long, being yelled at, and mentions of his mom. He also hates being mistaken for a raccoon, almost as much as he hates getting woken up from his slumber.
    Hotaru dislikes bones, intense heat, very bright lights, doesn't like dry skin/lack of personal hygiene, and aggressive/scary pets. He also doesn't like rumors, especially about him and his species.

    He strongly dislikes getting dressed in the morning because it's usually a struggle.
