Apophis loves his work and takes pride in it. He often will spend long hours at the office. He works hard, but to the point where he neglects his family. Apophis genuinely loves them and would die for them, but is terrible at showing it. He missed a lot of his children's milestones, his behavior is neglectful.
He holds others to high standards, but none more so than his own kids. This is out of a desire for them to succeed. He offers up his own money for his kid's needs and desires, to Joria as well. Oftentimes, emotions like concern and worry turn into anger. He is usually charming, but when he feels like his family is taking risks, he will harshly berate them.
Sometimes however, he can be a kind and gentle man, but that side of Apophis is a rare sight.
