  • The first 25 years of her life

    Rose was born to Helena Kouris and Atticus Kouris in ancient Greece on 1447, June 18. They lived in an old cottage 2 bedroom cottage in a poor village. She had 3 older sisters Katra, Evangeline and Ophelia. The only money they had came from their father's war tax payments, which wasn't much, so in order to eat, Rose and her sisters were forced from a young age to work around the village doing whatever was necessary, cleaning the stables, helping the butcher or waiting on tables in the brothel, you name it.
    Rose was from a tender age a sweet, lovely blonde girl with green eyes, always bubbly and smiling, radiating life and happiness no matter what they were going through. At the age of 15, when she was forced to work as a waiter in the town brothel, her body was already voluptuous with well defined curves and full breasts, and that was enough to attract the attention of Sebastian, a 21 year old general currently on leave from the war, he slowly made his way to her young foolish heart, bringing her gifts and whispering sweet words in her ear, until one day she accepted to go home with him, thinking they were just going to see his gardens, or so he said.   • Her vampire transformation

    For six months she endured the utter despair of trying to help all the wounded she could even though some were far past the point of being helped. It was a cold winter night, snow was falling the floor slowly turning white, it was her turn to go to the edge of camp to gather some herbs they needed to make another healing concoction, nobody liked going to the edge of camp, even though it was heavily guarded, it faced the dark moisty woods the king that could make you shiver from only glancing at it. Rose was lowered, quickly gathering the suplies she needed when a sharp pain started on the left side of her chest followed by a silky warm liquid running down her dress, without being able to help herself she screamed from the pain before gazing down at the origin of the pain. An arrow, straight to her lung left lung, missing her heart by inches, but it didn't look good on her either way, her breathing quickly became ragged, as it was getting harder and harder to breathe. She slowly fell to the ground and gasped as blood ran down her mouth, her eyelids getting heavier and heavier before closing completly.

    Her eyes opened about 2 hours later, first thing she noticed was the burning on her throat that didn't get better no matter how much she swallowed followed, then she noticed the smell, it seemed so much clearer, so much intense, wood and fire and ash and something spicy she couldn't quite place, she then noticed the now pain free chest of hers, her hands quickly moving to the previous location of the wound only to find it closed without so much of a single mark to show it had been there. "I think I'm losing my mind, did it really happened?". She whispered to herself right before raising her gaze and locking around, there on the left corner of the wooden room was a dark figure, male by the width of the shoulders and she quickly curled herself into a ball leaning her back into the wall, panic filling her as she remembered Sebastian. "No little Angel, it did happen...". The voice didn't belong to Sebastian, it was deeper. "B-But I died... I think...". The stranger smiled and nodded. "Indeed you did... My name's Theodore, but you can call me Theo". And that was the beginning of her vampire life, turns out that Theo as he explained, was what the vampire world considered vegetarian, he only drank from animals, but when he saw Rose about to take her final breath, he couldn't leave her, not after watching her looking out for the other soldiers so tenderly. Rose didn't need much to decide that she wanted to follow Theo's footsteps, she never wanted to hurt anyone.

  • The last 554 years of her life

    From her transformation on, Rose gathered every once of information she could from Theo, he taught her everything she knew before they parted ways. Rose made the best she could with her second chance of living, or dying. She spent her years lecturing herself to be a better physician and later on doctor, going from town to town working has a doctor on several hospitals she could. As the times went forward it became harder to hunt down animals freely, she learned that by working in the hospital she could deviate 1 or 2 blood bags a week and it was more than enough to supply her, even though it was human, she never hurt anyone to obtain them.
    As for the current time, Rose's working on Mystic Fall's General Hospital while trying to live a normal life as much as possible.
