The location being Haddonfield right now was mostly a coincidence since most of the times they appear at random, but maybe the entity felt like trying out her new toys all together in a new scenario that came out from their memories. And yeah, with each kill in this realm, part of their souls are lost. There were even stories of survivors and killers before them that bacame empty shells, some survivors even turning into killers themselves, so many awful things could happen.
While Laurie was looking around for anything useful, a loud scream could be heard from far away. A redhead appeared out of nowhere towards the street, clearly confused at the new area as she tries to run away from someone she has never seen before. "Goddammit, this one is new, you guys! Be careful!" Meg yelled, seeing Claudette repairing a gen not too far away from where the chase was happening. Claudette didn't see the new killer though, she realized Meg was still running but no one seemed to be chasing after her.
And then something new made a chill run up her spine when a heavy breathing could be hear not too far away from her, from behind. Claudette turned around quickly and saw this tall man in navy blue coveralls, a pale white mask and a butcher knife that, just like that, struck down against her. The attack came in such brutal force, that the blade sunk hard against her back, making her go down in one swift motion, not a chance for her to get up and run like it had happened with Meg, who at least managed to escape wounded. Claudette shout out in agony while realizing she couldn't get up, Michael reached down for her and grabbed her by the hair, yanking it and dragging her back into the darkness of trees and bushes. She continued screaming for a few seconds more until the noises just... Stopped.
The redhead turned around and looked at that particular spot, still not getting to see the new killer. She found really odd the fact that he didn't even try to take Claudette to a nearby hook, so part of her just hoped that Claudette had managed to find a spot to hide from him. She continued walking around, finding spots to hide and such, aiming to the last place she saw Claudette. After a while she ends there and looks around for her friend, only to realize she was long gone, thrown dead at the back of some bushes with her face carved in a sadistic way. Sitting against a wall like if she was some kind of creepy halloween pumpkin doll. Meg brought her hands to her mouth, crying. The new killer was something totally new for them, she wasn't even sure if this kind of death meant that they could die for good or not, but she tried to keep calm and breathe. No... Claudette was surely okay and back at the campfire, and now... Well, now the only way to escape was if by some miracle they finished a few generators and looked out for keys within chests.
Though their luck was obviously settled in this match, most likely they all were going to die.
Not too far from there, Michael was stalking his second prey. Spoting at the redhead not too far away from where he had left one of his classic souvenirs. The Shape stalks her then, following her around silently, cautiously. Preparing himself to hunt her down and end her quickly just as he did with the last one, and then... Maybe then he can start looking for the last survivor. Something was telling him that it was going to be his obsession, and he could barely wait for it. The voices inside his head were laughing, at least two of them, until the newest one started to tell him to hook the redhead and not just kill her with his bare hands. Michael breathed heavily under his mask and moves from his spot, disappearing into the shadows once more.
If there was something he wasn't liking at all, was this new voice telling him what to do or how to kill. Right now he was acting on his impulses and own needs, then he'd see if he would do as the new voice wanted. But not now, not in this place, and even less when his mind was occupied mostly with his baby sister. He needed to find her first, see her... Chase her.
