Role Play Requirements!!
Post Size: 3-4 paragraphs minimum per post (Yes, this can fluctuate, and I don't expect anyone to just add a lot of pointless fluff to meet the requirements, but 3-4 paragraphs should be easy, and my personal average is around 6-7 paragraphs), in normal roleplay situations. If you a.) don't want to read a book b.) don't want to write a book in response to a book, I am not the person you are going to want to rp with, ya dig? I want long rich well-crafted story partners, who have the same passion for writing, reading, and creative thought that I have. If you don't think you can keep up, please don't waste your time, and don't waste my time, and look for someone closer to your level of ability. This ride is apparently too tall for you or has at least too many characters for you to know what to do with. lol (F-Chat has really gotten dumbed down, maybe you could look there? Heh.)
Grammar: I want post-graduate level understanding of grammar. If you're not fluent in English and lack substantial schooling, we are not going to be able to rp. No offense, but I just won't be able to understand you, and likely, you won't understand me. Run-on sentences, overusing commas, and typos are all fine. But using "a" in front of a word that starts with a vowel sound, or using the wrong form of the word "too" ...that's not finna fly here, brutha.
(Of course, if your character has an accent or dialect, it is fine to mangle spelling and grammar to get the voice of a character across in dialogue!)
Long Term? Short Term? I want Long Term. Period. If you don't have the time to dedicate to this recreational activity, do not bother me and waste your time. I am happy to give people my discord! (add me: oldmusic) where we can chat oocly, and discuss times to pick up and continue an initial session. If you just want a "one and done" situation, I am, again, not the rp partner for you!!
Sexual Content? Not unless you got the time, tact, and skill, sweetie. Meaning, of those characters of mine that are sexually active and receptive and open to the idea of sex, I the writer, simply cannot just INSTANTLY JUMP INTO a sexual rp. Ok? So you're going to need to stick with me, role play through an entire adventure (whatever we come up with), and allow the relationship between our characters to progress and grow into a sexual direction over a long period of time. I don't like instant-sex role plays. Nope. What do I mean about 'tact'? It means you keep all sexual nonsense, all romance, all bonding, all feelings... all that you keep IN CHARACTER. I am NOT the character you want to rp with. I am the writer, I am the human being controlling the character, and I am a very happily married woman. If you get inappropriate OOCly with me, the writer, you will be given one warning. Any more of that sort of behavior, I will block you so fast, your head will spin. Don't even wit me righ' now, k? It infuriates me when people hit on me sexually oocly. Like for real. And as for skill? Yeah, you need to be able to write well to pull off a good sex scene in a text-only-based role play, you feel me? So brush up on your thesauruses because "orbs" "auds" "juicy" "meat" etc. are all just cringey AF, and a massive turn-off.

ALL MINORS ARE TO LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. DO NOT INTERACT WITH ME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! YOU WILL BE BLOCKED. PERIOD. On top of this, I really can't get along with people under 25 years old. I'm just way too old guys, and I have found I have nothing in common with ya'll-- yer all just a bunch of pains in the asses. And my ass hurts enough without being force-fed your generation's bullshit rhetoric. Act like an adult, or fuck off. No minors. No young adults. ADULTS ONLY.

And so everyone is aware, I will afford you exactly what I expect in return: civility and politeness. I will treat you as any human being on the street, who deserves courtesy until their actions prove otherwise! Things I Do Not Like
Any and all genders that do not fall under male and female. I call them "fantasy genders" that furries have come up with. Nothing against trans characters, but I only want to rp with males or females. So no, pre-op stuff, I *may* consider post-op stuff though, if your character can really pull off male or female, whichever direction they were transitioning into.
(The above opinion may upset you, but it is my preference, and I am entitled to have said preference. I don't HATE any trans people. I am just not into them in a sexual way. And sexual content is rare with me anyway, so like, it's so minor, but I have to make this statement.)
This does *NOT* apply if there will be no sexual contact in our rp. I could not care less about your character's gender, as long as there will be no sexual activity between your character, and mine. You know? And sexual rp is so unimportant to me, really, all genders are quite welcome. The "closed door" to those outside the male/female spectrum only applies to characters interested in sexual content. As I said, I have nothing against trans characters (or trans people) but I am simply not sexually attracted to the various amalgamations of gender people seem to be constantly coming up with these days. lol xD call me a traditionalist, I guess! xD

What do I like? Long-term, thought-provoking, emotional, deep, philosophical, morally debatable, well-crafted, multi paragraph role play with people who have a command of the English language and grammar largely set in medieval times, with common D&D tropes, and within my own Head Canon (which you can read on any profile I have!)
