Hadeon Kyrrell

A good 98% of the time Hadeon will be seen wearing a metal mask that completely covers his face, other than his eyes. His eyes are a mid-range grey color, though they look more blue because of the bloodshot appearance of his sclera. Around his eyes, the veins are a pale blueish-purple color, stark against the pale skin on his face, which rarely ever sees the sun. The mask he wears is intricately carved with small designs. It was a gift from an old friend, and he never removes it unless it is a complete necessity, preferring to cover his face. He owns two masks, but one he wears less frequently, choosing to wear it only for what he deems as special occasions.
Hadeon covers his face for many reasons, the most prominent of which being the horrid scars that twist the skin across his cheeks and mouth.

On his right cheek, there is a relatively large sigil burned into his flesh, the circle enclosing it so space-consuming that it had gone over the corner of his mouth, a good quarter inch onto his lips. When it had been burned into him, it had damaged his lips so thoroughly that during the healing process, the corner of his mouth had become sealed together, resulting in him having a slight speech impediment when he was able to move his mouth again. The branding iron that had been used melted away quite a large amount of skin, resulting in the remaining scar tissue to be much thinner than the rest of the flesh on his cheek. When he runs his tongue across the inside of his cheek, the scar tissue flexes more than the other skin.
The veins on his face were caused also by the branding. An infection had set in, causing his eyes to weaken and his scar tissue to become puffy for years before finally sinking down so it was lower than the rest of the skin. While his vision has fully returned, the redness and visible veins have not faded, even after ten years.

His nose is a little crooked, but other than that and a small scar across the bridge, it's the most pleasing thing about his face, the shape sharp, but not overwhelmingly so. He once was quite a handsome man.

The burns across his body are part of the ritual he was forced to undertake to be welcomed into an adverse religious sect. The sigil on his face was his stamp of approval to become one of their activists, handling the dirty work and shutting down any opposition the sect faced. The burn scars have softened a little, the rigid skin becoming more flexible with every passing year, some spots less jarring to look at than they had been.
He is well muscled, but not overly so, his form still more lithe than brute.
After an attempt on his life from a fellow member of his sect, he removed himself, and now lives a life of hiding from their two leaders, constantly on the move to prevent himself from being found and executed.
