Personality (Short): genius, judgmental, quiet, introverted, listener, not a talker, emotionally mature, overthinker.

Mannerisms: Rosalie likes to pull and tug at her hair when she's aggravated. It's a very bad habit that she built up, which sometimes ends up with her pulling out bits of hair (luckily she has not left bald spots). She also has a bad tendency to pinch her hand and arm when she's deep in thought. It's a form of fidgeting, it keeps her mind going. Those fidget toys don't help her at all. She gnaws on the inside of her cheek until it goes raw when she's anxious or sad.

Pet-peeves: The amount of hatred she feels the moment she hears any stupid conspiracy theories is astronomical. Rosalie is a very quiet person, but the moment you say you're a flat earther, she's spitting out facts and evidence left and right to prove you wrong. It irks her to no end!

What does Rosalie look for in a partner?
Rosalie is attracted to smart people. Preferably, geniuses. After all, she is a genius herself, and she needs someone who can match her level of conversation with either wit or actual intelligence. She prefers people who are book-smart over street-smart. She is somewhat lenient in people's personalities when she dates them because she isn't, particularly a very... vocal person. Sometimes she wants someone who can speak enough for both of them.

What is her preference?
Rosalie doesn't care about people's gender. Man, woman, nonbinary, agender, she doesn't care. All you have to be is interesting. She has never dated someone before (she never has the time).

What turns her off about a person?
Ignorance. Idiots. People who are straight-up stupid. She doesn't like people who lack common sense and she hates people who are overly confident in their ignorance. She likes people who are willing to change, who are always seeking out the unknown, and who take leaps to search for more. So she is extremely turned off when people are stupid. She is also turned off by people who are overly sexual, as Rosalie experiences sexual attraction very limited. She is demisexual so it takes her a whole to even consider people in a sexual light, so of course, she doesn't like when people make sexual comments toward her.

Personality (big/descriptive):

Rosalie is a very intelligent person. No, I’m not talking just about her being a genius, but she’s very emotionally intelligent. You could say that she’s very attuned with her emotions, however, knowing how to handle them is another story. She’s just as clueless as most people, but her OCD makes it more difficult for her to control her emotions, especially when she has compulsions that may or may not make them worse.

She’s a very introverted person. Shy? No. She isn’t shy at all. She’s quiet, she likes her own space, and she feels itchy all over when people she doesn’t know barge into her life and take it by the reins. Which seems to happen a lot for her. These is one of the reasons why she struggles to have any lab partners, but she’s working with it, which is why she sometimes invites one of her coworkers into her office while she works. It’s like “exposure therapy”.

She hates it though. Might be more like “exposure-hell-that-isn’t-like-therapy-at-all”.

She’s easier to work with when the other person she’s with is someone she can bounce off of. Someone who can’t understand what she’s talking about, someone who just stands around, isn’t someone ideal for her to work with. Which is why she doesn’t have a lot of friends. While she never leaves her house, she also refuses to befriend people when they aren’t her exact expectation.

Rosalie does have ADHD but it doesn’t come off in the way people expect. She isn’t hyper physically, she is hyper mentally. Her brain is always blasting through so many topics, she has dreams about her lessons and experiments, and then she wakes up to experiment some more. If you ask her about something she’s interested? Be prepared for a whole bucket load of knowledge.

One of the people she knows how to bounce off the most is her little brother. He isn’t a genius by any means, but he knows how she works, and he can ask her the right questions and say the right things. The two are attached by the hip. Because of this, whenever he tries to push her to make friends, she always ends up leaning on him for advice. He’s far more social and extroverted compared to her.

Rosalie has a hard time reacting the right way to things. Well, there is no right way to react, but she never knows what to say in very touchy situations. Your grandpa died? Oh well, she doesn’t know what to say, because all she can think about is the scientific decomposition of your grandmas body and she has no clue where her soul went. If souls exist, that is. She needs to work on more evidence on that.

She is a very morbidly curious scientist. One of her goals is to find out what happens to people after death, where do they go, or if they just die entirely. So you can find her at a morgue or even at hospitals talking to people who were resuscitated or on the brink of dying (sometimes the doctors get mad at her for her insensitive questions, but she can’t help it!).

Rosalie is someone who’s constantly on the move. It’s hard to catch her in one spot, physically and mentally, as she’s always rushing to her next task. Someone like her doesn’t like rest.

So yes, she’s a workaholic. Who is she if she isn’t working?

Probably someone boring.
