chloette is a character i'm pulling out of retirement to restart my rp career, so if you think you've seen her before, you probably have! if you want to organise some kind of relationship between her and your character, please shoot me a whisper. if you just want to say your character has seen her around or is vaguely familiar with her, no permission needed. she is a slave, and i am looking for plotlines to get her into the arena. please excuse the mess while i re-jig her rpr and of course ask questions if needed.

occurencesin the beginning, chloette's ancestors were hunted for their oddity, forcibly removed from their sanctuaries and kept as freakshow displays or drugged lap pets. as time passed and anthropomorphic mutations were discovered, masters were sure to maintain the power dichotomy. but the species were endangered as a result of their domestication origins, and often mistreated to the extreme due to their potentially dangerous temperaments and attributes. chloe's small family, as far as she's aware, were all neglected to extinction, and she was far removed from her homeland many moons before her own conception. bred - albeit haphazardly - into slavery, she's known nothing else, and presently arrives at the tether in chains and sedated, with a reputation for scrappy obstinacy but the label of 'pleasure slave'.
all is quiet and serene.
the trickle of water ushers in the crispness of the morning, the gentle whisper of grass cuts through downy fur harmlessly.
hundreds of tiny creatures - analogous more to cryptids than their assumed kin - mill about the slick pebbles, with flighty movements and ever-vigilant stares.
but no amount of vigilance can prepare a species for genocide.
the sun's explosion caught them by surprise, but even if it hadn't, escape was nary a fleeting plea.
and after the calamity came the chains, ricketing and slithering and tightening. taking those who survived and leaving naught but dust in their wake, the only remains of a once-utopia.
