There once was a small village, the residents humble and quiet. Many years pass without much adieu, until one day, strange creatures appear, to ravage the village, and devour several of the residents. The beasts demanded a sacrifice every so often, and the village agreed, not wanting to lose more of their kin.

Fast forward several eons, and we have a village that refuses to comply any longer. The only issue, is they began to kidnap, enslave, and breed sentient races from the forest the beasts had come from, looking for the perfect guardians for the village. Ten generations, several failed hunters later, and they finally find the perfect candidate. This was the boy that would eventually become our beloved butler.

Several years of pain and suffering, experimentation, and hunting later, and he would have enough. In a fit of rage and sheer hatred of what he had become, he slaughtered two of the many races of beings that had been terrorizing the village, and demanded his freedom, having effectively caused the village to no longer need the slayer program. His people freed, and having no reason to stick around, the young slayer moved on.
