Pinson Needles

Bjalmugg started his career as a bounty hunter at a young age. He was the sole survivor of a bandit attack, and was taken in by traveling bounty hunters. He got their knack for grim humor, and easygoingness from them. They seemed to cope with the grim reality and bloodshed of the job with humor. A young pre-teen, he didn't do much of fighting at that age. He did got to learn after doing camp chores though.

Eventually, he got old enough to start collecting bounties. More importantly, he got job experience. His first fight was messy, earning him a jab to the shoulder and a cut across his arm. The next few fights after that earned him more collections of marks, until eventually he started winning without any marks at all. By 20, he looked like a grizzled hunter. By 23, the road-life had already earned him his first grey hair.

His pack got unlucky though. One job, brought them into the home of a witch. The local lord wasn't aware either, figuring the disappearances of the local townsfolk had to do with a gang. The witch was defeated, but not without casualties. The band was wiped out, all for Bjalmugg. Even though he had once, the dying breath of the witch cursed him with lycanthropy.

Now, Bjallmugg has taken up monster hunting. The price on the witch's head was too high not to continue. Plus, having seen what the witch did to eleven grown and seasoned men; if he could kill a witch, the world needed him for this kind of job. He would just have to do it without other hunters finding out his condition.
