When the world goes to shit, there's worse places to be at the start of it than a police station.
Unless you're locked up in a holiding cell with no way out and the corpses of three officers trying to grab you through the bars.
And now you're having to come to terms with the fact you're either going to die from starvation, or getting eaten alive.
Then yeah, a police station might not be as appealing of a place during the apolcalypse as some folks might think.
Lets rewind the story by about twenty-six hours, shall we?
At around nine pm on Friday evening, Marisol was arrested for consuming and being in possession of drugs.
After a minute of being locked up in the holding cells of her local police station, things started to take a turn for the worst.
A man in the cell across from hers started coughing up blood and bleeding from his eyes. After thirty seconds, he was pronounced dead.
But five minutes later, he started groaning and got back up. At first, it seemed like a miracle, but it would quickly prove to be a nightmare.
The man attacked the officer who had arrested Marisol, biting him on the neck and ripping his throat out right before her eyes.
Two other officers came rushing in to help, one met the same fate as the first officer whilst the other managed to shoot the criminal.
But another five minutes went by and the two officers that had been attacked rose from the dead and ambushed the final surviving officer.
Now all three, with lifeless eyes and a hunger for flesh, have swarmed in front of her cell - constantly reaching in, hoping for another meal.
Hiding in the corner, Marisol spent a sleepness night listening to the groans and yells of the dead outside her cell.
But in the distance, she could hear the screams of the living. Any hope of being rescued quickly fizzled out and died with the victims.
Yet...as the hour nears midnight...the sound of gunshots in the distance reaches her ears. Someone's alive out there, and they're fighting back.
