Serenity The Wavelength Hero

Born in a small city in Australia, Rochelle grew up in a very high class family of Quirk Users who used their emotion connected Quirks to help others, his dad being a psychologist and his mother being an art therapist. His older brother, who goes by the Hero name Tranquility, is an Australian school instructor and uses his Quirk to calm down students who get a little too rambunctious.

Even though the other Pomodoros were cool and collected individuals most of the time, having Quirks that rely on emotion can lead to dangerous situations if this family is angered due to the psychic waves that cause quite a bit of damage if held back long enough. Being quite a hotheaded youth, Rochelle would often break a lot of things and use up a lot of energy, leading to fainting and nosebleeds.

However, this anger Rochelle has was what got him noticed by a Pro Hero in Japan who offered him a mentorship. Although his parents were reluctant to let him go, Rochelle accepted and moved to Japan by the age of 19. It was here he met Keigo Takami who was still starting out himself as a Hero at the time, despite being so much younger than Rochelle who couldn't even compete with his talents.

Enchanted by Rochelle's beauty and enjoying his reactions to his teasing, Keigo often went out of his way to find Rochelle and pester him. Although on the outside he acted like he didn't like him, Rochelle began to get so used to Keigo being around that when he wasn't, he felt a little lost.

A couple days after Rochelle had proven himself to be a Pro Hero, Keigo proposed to him on live television, asking for him to be his partner. Along with the rest of Japan, Rochelle was shocked by this proposal and panicked, leading to his declination. It wasn't until a couple attempts and dates later that Rochelle finally accepted Keigo's offer, having become smitten for the Wing Hero.

Whilst his partner climbed the ranks to the Top 10, Rochelle was comfortable at the lower rankings he was in, not bothered by the competition and doing side work as a model and a combat instructor to occupy himself. Of course, Hawks and him were still going strong and often met up when they were both not so busy.

It was only when Rochelle started to notice Hawks's ego was getting to his head that Rochelle contemplated breaking up with him, doing so days before Hawks was considering to propose. To drown out the guilt and still lingering feelings for him, Rochelle forcefully made himself develop a hatred towards Keigo and is very avoidant of him, despite the other still trying to keep in contact.
