Jackson Sagear

Jackson had a relatively normal life growing up, nothing really sticks out here. His family lived comfortably with both his parents working, him and his sister got along as much as any normal siblings would. Both are pretty close. He was taught how to be smart with his money and where to invest. He graduated from High School, but instead of jumping right into college, took time off to travel with friends.

After High School, Jackson traveled around with two friends from school, childhood friends. Angelo and Charlie. They visited many places, worked odd jobs when they needed money, but were never in a place longer than a week. Two weeks at max if a situation called for it. The three had a great time just moving about and making memories together for roughly two years. Eventually, Jackson started thinking about settling down somewhere though, causing a drift to start forming between him and Angelo.

Jackson had always planned on settling in a nice place and hopefully starting up a business of his own. He had a wonderful family growing up and one day hoped to have that for himself. Jackson started settling down, getting himself an apartment and a solid job working for an old car shop and a robotics repair shop. Furthering his knowledge and honing skills he'd been developing since childhood. Charlie was always certain if Jackson put his mind to it, he could've made great inventions, but Jackson wasn't interested. He was always content to just fix the broken and give it an extended life, whatever it was that needed fixing.

Charlie got a place of his own and found work nearby in the same city, but Angelo just couldn't, or wouldn't, let go of the past and their fun adventures. He simply didn't want to grow up. Jackson, being the good guy he is, allowed Angelo to stay with him as he worked and started attending online college classes. Angelo was constantly trying to convince Jackson he didn't need to do these things, but Jackson always stuck to his plan.
Roughly two months into their stay, they met other people, made new friends, and all seemed to be going well. Except things between Angelo and Jackson only got worse.

One night, after a heated argument, Jackson took his leave of the conversation and got on his motorcycle to drive home. Angelo stubbornly gave chase. He and Jackson ended up in a high speed chase, Angelo's anger getting the better of him, resulting in reckless driving. He ended up getting too close to Jackson, causing his bike to lose control and the both of them to crash, along with two other actual cars. Jackson took the brunt of the damage, resulting in severe burning and injury of his left side. Jackson was rushed to the hospital and placed in critical care, underwent multiple major surgeries, died at least twice on the table before they were able to stabilize him.

He was then placed in critical care for a month, where he remained sedated for weeks to help with pain management. During his stay at the hospital, his parents traveled to meet him and stay to care for him. Unfortunately, they could only do so much, an infection took hold. Extending his stay and resulting in his parents to make the choice for him and ultimately save his life. The decision to amputate his arm was a tough one, but it was the decision that saved his life.

After that, he slowly improved over the next few weeks, and in roughly six months he was able to regain consciousness and the long road to recovery. Through it all, his family stayed by his side and did what they could for him. Through lots of physical therapy and support, he pushed through. His father then built him the robotic arm to use and hopefully cheer him up, and to ask for forgiveness for their decision. Though Jackson never held any ill will towards his parents, they couldn't help but feel guilty of their choice.

While he recovered, he spent time finishing his college courses in business, then set back into getting into a flow. His parents helped him find a new place, move, and get stabilized before they moved back home. Soon after, Jackson bought out an old storage unit, renovated it, and then created his own shop, named Metalborne Automation.

Jackson is now recovered enough to live his life normally and rather comfortably. From time to time, his wounds act up and cause him discomfort or pain, but he manages well enough. He's just happy to be able to do what he does best and loves. His shop is open just about every weekday and closed every other weekend, providing plenty of time for both appointments and walk-ins. He can help fix up just about anything anyone brings in and all are welcome.

Spine - Fractures, parts of his spine have been replaced with metal disks and stabilizers.
Lung - Jackson used to be a smoker in his younger years, before his accident. Though, after and due to the damage to his left lung, no longer smokes.
Ribs - 2 ribs removed and replaced with metal
Left Arm - Amputated, now uses a robotic prosthetic
Left Hip - Replaced with metal reinforcements.
