    Standing at 5'4, Yana boasts a slender frame. She has a pale complexion, almost as if the blood beneath her skin didn't show through. Her facial features are sharp, yellow-irised eyes set behind hooded eyelids, suggesting an Eastern Asian heritage. Her hair is jet black with yellow streaks, straight and comes to an end just upon her middle back. Though, more often than not, she wears her hair in a high ponytail. She's most often seen dressed in formalwear, a pinstripe blazer over a white business shirt with its collar unbuttoned, tucked into black form-fitting office slacks. A black tie loosely draped around her neck. Various tattoos peek from under her sleeves, though she does her best to hide most of them.

    A former pawn of the criminal underworld, Yana often acts with little to no empathy, maintaining a stoic demeanour and posture. She rarely shows any surface emotion. She's quick to dismiss any problems that seem minuscule to her. She'd not turn away a person in need though it depends on the weight of that need. Having known the darkest parts of humanity, she is untrusting of people and usually views them with scepticism, especially when they offer her help or courtesy. She's a firm believer that if someone's doing something nice for you, they're probably wanting something in return. This makes socialising with civilians and good-natured people hard for her to navigate. She's a chain smoker, to see her without a lit cigarette in hand and a swirl of smoke around her is a rare site indeed. Being asked personal questions are often met with a glare or a look of annoyance.
  • Backstory


    Born in Singapore, only to be sold to human traffickers at the age of nine due to her father's dive into poverty after his law career took a hit when he lost his practising license in a high-profile scandal. Yana found herself adopted by the De Silva family, a wealthy family with a nice estate in Silverton Heights. However, she was treated like an outsider by most of the family who clung to the prospect that bloodlines and status reign supreme above all in the eyes of the community. At the age of twelve, she was forced to leave her home when her oldest stepsister pushed her too far, awakening an innate power dormant within her, resulting in her accidentally ending her stepsister's life.

    She found herself spending the better half of her time in Ruston Docks, learning the ins and outs of the shady back alleys and mingling with the equally shady individuals. She'd denounce her connection to the De Silva bloodline in favour of the lucrativeness of the criminal underground. She decided that she didn't need her family's money, she'd make her own. Making friends in low places, she developed a keen sense of trade and commerce of illegal goods, starting out pushing drugs for lowly street thugs until she made her name for herself with the local gangs, and adopting the alias "Lyubov'" for her promiscuity. After three years of drug dealing, amongst other things, she finally caught the attention of the Bratva, who offered to take her in as one of their own. She wanted nothing more than to climb the ranks until she stood above all. Thinking that she has found a new family along the Bratva, she couldn't have been any more wrong. In the eyes of the crime syndicate, she was merely another pawn in their game of devious profitability. She was nothing more than a pretty face stuck doing the same things she did before, just now with a new label. A hand to push their drugs and a body that could be sold. That is until Sashu Butakov met an explosive end and Roy Majewsk took the mantle of the head of Halcyon's Bratva.

    Roy noticed something that Sashu didn't, being a man of significant intellectual methodicality. A spike in income, an increase in the speed at which produce was being sold. He sought to find what drove the margin in productivity. He then discovered Yana, charmed by her looks and talents he took her under his wing, mentoring her in the ways of the syndicate. She looked up to him, admiring his ruthlessness and intelligence. She did everything she could to please him, giving him her skills, loyalty, and body. She would act as his proxy, managing trade routes, being his personal bodyguard, and a liaison between him and other members of the crime network such as Breach and Diego Lupa. She would eventually fall in love with him and form a romantic relationship as his girlfriend.
