These are the tenets of a creed, one I used to live by.
I was a young woman then, completely unaware of what was about to begin. I hadn't imagined what the future had in store for me, nor the cost I would choose to bear.
I'm older, now. I'm a pariah from two orders, but I've been welcomed to a third--one that stands up to the others.

This character is based on the Assassin's Creed video games, though one doesn't need to know the first thing about it. There is plenty of room for characters and players who haven't any idea about any of it.
For those interested, she's an ex-Assassin who briefly considered the Templars, but ended up on the run from both organizations and right into a third. The Populists are individuals, some ex-Assassins, some ex-Templars, some neither, who realize both Orders are wrong and too extreme. They see both Orders as ultimately enemies of humanity, who prey on innocent people, use them as pawns for their own whims. Someone has to stand up for the people and put both Orders in their place, and the Populists have taken on the responsibility.
